UltraSabers Unboxing - Two $75 Mystery Boxes

- I placed my order on December 10th. My lightsabers shipped on December 27th and were delivered December 28th, mainly due to the fact that UltraSabers is just a 45 minute drive from my house.The whole time I was watching unboxing videos, I never gave any thought to where they were based. I’m definitely going to pay them a visit!
I've been a Star Wars fan ever since it debuted in 1977. After watching other peoples' UltraSabers unboxing videos, I was hooked. Since I didn't own ANY lightsabers, I decided to buy two mystery boxes, hoping that maybe one of them would come with sound. I will definitely be buying more mystery boxes.
In the video, I misread some writing on the hilt wrappers. Below is a description of what I got, along with the prices from the UltraSabers website. If I made any mistakes, let me know in the comments below.

To everyone telling me I misquoted Darth Vader, I'd just like to say, I know I did. When TESB came out, me and my best friend saw it 14 times in the theater. (This was back when student discount tickets were only $2.50) So I’m well aware of what the correct line is. I had it memorized before most of you were even born. But since my son and I didn't recite any of the dialogue leading up to that particular line, I thought it would sound strange with me just saying, "No, I am your father.". So I improvised.

My bad. It wasn't "VIP", it was "V4". Given that these were my first two lightsabers ever, I had a little trouble interpreting what was written on the hilt wrappers. Also, in the video description, I broke down all features the lightsabers came with. For two $75 mystery boxes, I got two lightsabers worth a combined total of $333!

Na, I got flashbacks to Star Wars theory’s low budget second Vader fan film.
You can tell that he's genuinley excited about this and it is very heartwarming

For the white one you can put a bingo chip in of the desired color to make it that color or mix them together to make a color

I don't really like the black hilt, unless the blade is red, has eindow vents, and sound. And Hallelujah! You got very lucky. Your sons hilt is my favrite and white goes so well with it. Both fantastic. Btw, you both look like Mark Hamill.

I also got a white saber and i figured i would shar that vellum is a see through paper used for crafts you can get it at hobby lobby and just attach whatever color you want to the blade!
BigFoot Good to know. I opted for the assorted colored discs that Ultra Sabers sells for around $5. It’s nice to be able to change it to any color I want.

Thanks for the comment, Tristan! Unfortunately, the red lightsaber I got is already broken. When I unscrewed the cap and tapped the hilt to get the battery pack out, it came flying out because all of the wires broke at their splice points. I'm currently trying to contact UltraSabers to see if I can send it in to be repaired. If they don't, or if they try to charge me for it, I just may have to do another video giving them a negative review.
Where in Texas by the way? Because I would love to learn some twirling and fighting moves so when I take my grandson trick or treating this year, I can dress as a Jedi and show it off.
Scott Cooper I’ve heard they can repair them from past reviews! We’re over in good ole Lubbock, Red Raider nation haha but I’m sure since you’ve had it so little of time they’d help, their customer service is great from my personal opinion!

I got pretty lucky with getting a sound saber in a mystery box, it did not have white paper, and it was fully assembled, and it was the 75 dollar version, this was back in 2020 when their prices were still reasonable, so sad that they raised the price of their sabers for at least the 2022 holiday season.

Since this gonna be my 1st time ever buying two mystery box lightsabers I'ma try to get the one I want.
Cool thing with these sabers, you can get a knurled thumb screw at home depot to more easily unscrew the blades while still looking cool, the thread size they use is #8-32, Enjoy!
