Thank you so much for the vids Karl, I am about to build a near replica of this shed on a concrete slab, following you nearly step by step. I won't be finishing it to this degree on this inside as its going to be a shed for tools and my lawn mower. Again, thank you so much for detailing everything!!!
Although im pretty sure our building codes are different here in NZ, Im really liking the shed build videos and have learnt a lot. Keep it up, its a crime you dont have more subscribers though.
It'll be used for practicing and recording music. All electronically though, at least for now, so isn't any need for soundproofing. All instruments will go directly into a computer.
I will mostly keep it conditioned year round. The roof is vented with eve and ridge vents, but internal venting will be handled with the windows/skylight and window air conditioner. I do have a wire setup to potentially handle a through-the-wall vent in the future, but I'm going to go through this summer before determining if I actually need it. It wasn't necessary in the winter.
you can round over the edges of your window sills they will look better and also get rid of the sharp hurting edges that over time get ruined anyways - also why did not you 45 mitre the corners tops?
“Do your best and caulk the rest”. Love it!
he meant cock - meaning "forget" about it

Nice... I think I would have left the window trim natural to match the door trim.

I have enjoyed your videos. I have built a fewl studios through the years. What type of studio is it going to be? You mentioned sound.

Where's the venting? Unless, do you keep the shed conditioned year round?

I thought of doing the mitre cuts, but I liked this look for some reason.
