This time we visited Hibari Barbershop in Kagawa Prefecture, where we received haircuts, shampoos, shaves, and head massages.
The barbershop is designed in the image of a Showa-era barbershop, and the owner Mr. Fujii's attention to detail can be seen throughout the store.
Mr. Fujii may look a little scary, but he is a very kind man with great sense of style and is easy to talk to and enjoyable.
He is easy to talk to and fun to be around. He is particular about his store, his barbering tools, music, fashion, space, and more.
He is also very passionate about music, fashion, space, etc., which is reflected in the hairstyles he provides.
They create "just-right hairstyles" that are not bound by trends.

昭和後期から平成初期って感じが懐かしい…今程便利じゃないけどこの頃がほんまいい時代だった。サービスが丁寧だしほんとに心地いい。
確かにです！今ほど他人の目を気にせすに自由に振る舞えてた時代だった気がします。窮屈なルールも今ほど少なかったですし💦
仕事の丁寧さと拘りが伝わる動画です。
細部までこだわってくれる理容師さんでした！日頃来ている洋服にも合わせてくれたりしますし。
Old-fashioned places like this really do make hair cutting so much more of an art form. I can't explain why, but the barbers feel like skilled workers far beyond your average barber shop.

Excellent footage of hair washing. That’s what a shampooing should be like .. my first “salon/shop” hair wash was like this .. when the woman finished washing my hair she wrapped a towel on my head and I was like .. wow …. She really shampooed me good! The chair reclined back and even the sink was blue like this . I was in college and tried a unisex hair shop instead of a barber ..the only thing I felt a bit awkward about was the lady shampooing me was older than my grandmother, elderly lady .. didn’t do massage at the end like this but shampooed me twice very thoroughly and a good 10-15 minutes lots of lather and rinsed really well like here .. and my hair wasn’t dirty ! I think a shampoo is more relaxed when you are reclined with your head back in the sink ., I found it uncomfortable as a kid when my grandmother shampooed my hair with my head forward down in the kitchen sink .
I must ask does this barber actually cut any hair, he wouldn’t never get a job in the uk
