2011 BMW 523i Start-Up and Full Vehicle Tour Part 1

- What a video! I went to the BMW showroom yesterday just for fun, and I saw this brand new F10 5-Series test drive unit. I immediately asked for the keys to this and made a thorough video on the car, which resulted in a video over 17 minutes long, and I had to split the video into two. The first part is all about the overview of the car, with an engine shot and a start-up with the door open. The second part I take you through the iDrive screen, radio, air-con, functions inside the car that needed power and start-up clips with the door closed as well as from the exhaust.
Note; This local Malaysian version of the F10 523i is powered by the N52B25 2.5litre inline six BMW engine, with 204bhp and 250Nm of torque. It is not the same as the 523i in Europe that uses the N53B30 3.0litre inline six engine with 204bhp and 270Nm of torque.

This car is still amazing in 2019 for real.
The F10 is so freakin beautiful. This should've been the E60 because it is such a nice evolution from the E39. Great job whoever designed this.

@CrankshaftRotator It does have a 2.5 litre engine for my local market and 250Nm of torque, elsewhere it has the 3.0 litre engine.

@CrankshaftRotator Yes. It's the N52B25 engine, but from 190bhp in the E60 523i, it was tuned up to 204bhp in this F10 523i.

@TheCodfather46 You just press the fan speed button down until there are no bars left. The air-con is off.
You forgot that inside the front cup holder..there's a provision slot where you can put the keys so that it doesn't fall off while driving.

Indeed... although the 535i is expensive, but there are lots of gadgets on it which includes the sun/moonroof, paddle shift, etc... i like the big 18' rims with big brake caliper and brake rotor disc.. more stopping powerrrrrrr...
i can't wait for the 535i M-Sport version which being sold in UK.. it has gorgeous 18" rims and //M bodykit.. i hope AB brings it in...

I just recived my 2012 320i it look a lot like this and in it runs like a deamon in my country freeways
@oldirtybastard213 523i is a 3.0 in Europe. On this side of the globe, our 523i is actually a 2.5. =)
@dakaraabbccdd actually the 523i is a 3.0 liter... just like the 535i .. just that it doesnt have any turbos and bmw detuned it a bit .. so they can market it as a cheaper model

Wrong informations! The 523i has not 2.5 liters, but 3.0. Also not 215 nm tourque, but more.

The littlest of things (such as this)might just be the link to excellence(and in this case, an excellent drive). Anyway, indeed, turning the wheel and improving the ride sounds ridiculous. OK, my fault. Sorry. Ist this the old valvetronic - engine (N 52)? In germany this car has a direct injection engine (N53), always 3 liters.

@alexlovesmac It's because we ordered one and the color was called "zimtbraun" so cinnamon brown, and i thought that this could be that color but it seems it's a little bit to reddish or is it? Are there other colors available in asia than in europe?
