I had a college Friend who was nice at the beginning. But later he was always jealous about my life, success and achievements. I found it late that he is not a same person as before.
So, thank God I came to know about this and I was really hurt at that time.
Now I have 3 good, supporting and trusting friends instead of several friends.
    Life is happier.

Thanks for sharing 💜🧚🏻‍♀️! Sorry that your College friend disappointed you 🙁, I guess that’s just a part of life. We need to learn to identify who our real friends are and stay away from people who don’t want the best for us. Always choose quality over quantity, especially when it comes to friends 😊. Glad you feel happier now.

true😪u talk about my wife , covert narcissist certainly craves importance, Tactics of a covert narcissist might include belittling, triangulation, and avoiding direct responsibility.

In general, i would wager that believing in god makes people more likely to let this kind of scenario to play out further than it has to. It was brave of you to share this story & example so that other people will catch it (happening to them) sooner.

    youre interesting
keep people at a distance until you get to know their true nature, only become friends with people that you consider to be pure and worthy of your trust
everyone else I have to say give them enough to be friendly but be very careful what you tell them, guard your secrets, talk about the weather and not what your insecurities are, just give them a little to be friendly that has nothing to do with you and keep your distance
an enemy is a friend that knows too much and they use it against you

Thanks for your feedback 💜🧚🏻‍♀! The thing, darling is that many people don't show their true colours most of the time and sometimes you get to understand their true personalities and intentions much later, it can happen months and even years after you've met them. And you are absolutely true saying: "an enemy is a friend that knows too much and they use it against you", I've learnt my lessons now and opening up much slower to people. I've also learnt to see the red flags much earlier on and protect myself better. Take care and be surrounded by quality people 😊!
