I had a haircut like this in 1982. I was a teen. So glad to see this style coming back. I’ve heard if you wore the trend the first time around, you are too old to wear it when it comes back again. I’m going to ignore that saying. I love shags!
You’re so awesome, I’ve learned so much from you.. I’m not a hair dresser but I cut my own hair.. Because here in N.C hair dresser don’t know what they’re doing.. I’ve been to hairdresser several times and they never do what you say.. I wish I lived in your area because I would definitely go to you.. My haircut is kind of like the haircut on the show today, But my hair is really thick and needs to be thinned out out a lot-but I’m scared to do that myself.. I really enjoy watching your shows, Thank you
I live just outside of Buffalo, NY, and it's only less than 500 miles from NY City, but none of the fashionable clothing styles, or haircuts have trickled over here! I can guarantee that if I took a pic of this haircut to any salon within 100 miles, they'd look at me like I was crazy and totally not be able to do it! Very frustrating!
The Oribe beach shine spray reminds me of a bumble & bumble product called sparkler, they stopped making it YEARS ago and try as I might, hadn't found a similar replacement!! THANK YOU, you truly are Amazing.
Loving your videos. If you have any stylist friends in the Charlotte, NC area that you can recommend for these types of cuts, I'd definitely go see them.
My mom did this haircut on me most of my life. In her day it was called the Gypsy cut. I've been hairing since 1992 and its the same shag with small if any changes with the cut but has several names
I know why but I just hate that name mullet. A shag is fine but not a mullet. It just seems like one of the most hated haircuts ever, and people seem to have all these negative ideas about people who would wear one. The way you did this is awesome, and not that I'm an expert by any means, that's for sure but to me this is just a variation of a shag. The old fashioned style mullets did not look good compared to the ones done by good hairstylists nowadays. Maybe they can rename the mullet haircut LOL😆

Me too
Ignore it. I'm 62, have a shullet very similar but shoulder length, and get soo many compliments on my haircut..

A Shag is not a mullet!!!!
It's not but they've combined these 2 haircuts nowadays. It's like a hybrid or something.
