Actually, on PC you can't play Puyo vs Tetris with additional game parameters like Quick Drop and 2 Pop. Long story.
On Switch and other ports, all it takes is to select Puyo Pop 2 and Quick Drop On in the Versus Room Settings screen.
However on PC, the settings do nothing if it's a Puyo vs Tetris game. The settings are applied only to Puyo vs Puyo.
Fug Ebin Meme reverse engineered this and from what I've understood, the game simply doesn't care about setting the Puyo ruleset if it's a Puyo vs Tetris game, likely because it checks if there's a Tetris player in existence and considers it a Tetris game.
What me and Doremy did here was force the Puyo ruleset to 2 Pop and Quick Drop enabled via memory hacking. Easiest way to do it.

Doremy speedruns Zuma Deluxe which is basically a linear 2 pop game. He's quite good

To the beat is pretty hard, without some heavy heavy effort. I'm currently too busy to dive into this, but remind me sometime in the future and I might be up for doing it!

Zetris can it maybe be a speedhack TAS? Would need to slow the music low in audacity and play back since speedhack doesn’t change music. That’s just one idea I have

I love what you have done with the bot. It is much more threatening with the more back to backs and less combos, but a ton more perfect clears. Will this be allowed in Puzzle League or will it be too overpowered?
I've put it in puzzle league but only shortly for stress testing. No real reason to put it there, especially as less and less high level players play on PPT matchmaking.

It'd be cool if we could see something like Fever Rule VS Zetris. Zetris' own efficiency at sending garbage would work against him by fueling Fever if the Puyo is skilled enough.

@@Zetris probably a dumb idea; but dont PPC and PPT2 run on the same engine? Could you import fever rules if you mod it in place of vs?
Fever mode itself exists in big bang and skill battle, it's just the gauge, but we already have a activation of it through skill raid bosses so it might be possible to activate it with garbage offset?

@@Zetris When Zetris accesses the memory, does it only see the 5 next pieces in the queue or can it get more? I find it hard to believe that it can do so many perfect clears consistently with only 5 next pieces.
@@PikaChu-um2gt sees anywhere between 12-19 at a time. i could do more, but it results in PCs that are too greedy. some are already borderline greedy and cause it to die.
So was the perfect clear finder was off at the at the start until the game was too long for zetris and he just decided to just do perfect clears
