I have been buying from Gamer's Grass for a few years now, for my shop. They have always treated me right. Great company to deal with, and the product is out standing.

Wow, someone got lucky. Gamer Grass is an amazing product with its shaded grass design. Their repainted bases are god like. You even got alien blue!!! And new tiny tufts!!!! Sorry they didn't send you the new alien fire tufts...that I totally want to use as fire and not tufts. Also Alien Turquoise is pretty awesome too.

Just dropped a $112.72 on this product after watching this video. Thanks for the review. You should have an affiliate link so you can get credit. If anything, share this amount with them so they can at least give you some credit. Ordered on 2/12/2020 and I let them know I saw your review. Keep up the great work!

I love love love Gamer's Grass. It's the only tufts I use now. They are really shapeable glue on the bottoms of them is kind of stretchy and can be tucked into nooks and crannies on bases between rocks and other decor.

Love the battle ready bases. I've done a few projects using their grass tufts (I ordered one of every type to try out a while back) and they've been pretty solid so far. I haven't had a chance to use the super bright colors yet, but I've got some projects in mind where they could be useful. Good video as always! :)

That stuff looks really high quality, I haven't painted figures since the early 90's with the old school Warhammer 40,000 sets but I got really jazzed thinking up ideas on how to mix the rocks and flora together. I enjoyed this type of video.

What your thinking of is milk thistle. That clustered together it could also be used for cotton from the best I can tell. I like the way the alien tufts shift color a little depending on the viewing angle.

Naomi, I love the review and I wanted to comment that the small white flowers actually look a lot like snow covered grass as you said but also are close to cotton plants. The taller white plumed grass name from the flora we have in Canada escapes me as well but I know what you are speaking of. It is not Milkweed however (I Googled it) but I did find an image of Bear grass which looked very close to the large ones.
While I use actual stones for basing (usually 1/4" to maximum 3/4" Crusher Paving Stones) as well as dollar store decorating sand and pebble flock those resin basing stones look very impressive and rather than as basing I think that they would make awesome scatter terrain for a rocky battlefield table.
The 25mm "Winter" bases look great but I am sad that that small amount of snow is what the creators consider winter. My winter bases are usually deep snow, glacial, frozen lakes or the like. They look more early winter to me, like the first snowfall after the meltdown that follows. Still, very impressive.
The Alien Blue and Neon Purple tufts would make an awesome combo on the bases of Tzeentch or Slaanesh Chaos armies.
I am definitely going to look this company up even though I generally create my own basing materials from various sources for free or nearly free it is always handy to have a go to for premade basing materials when you are in a rush to complete a large group of miniatures in a short space of time and you do not have the time to make what you need yourself. It is also good to have a product for recommendation to other gamers who come to you for advice (which happens a lot because I have been a gamer and miniature painter for over 40 years and even worked as a GW retail sales associate for a couple of years).
Please, do a video of when you use any of these or on what you have used them on and tell us how they did.

Would be really interesting to see the alien Tufts applied directly to a model for accent to represent alien hair / growths / or corruption of some kind. Can't decide if that would translate well or just look out of place.

I was interested for my orgres, only to realmise there is no chance in hell I can put them on the base since all the rocks and stuff there are.

Personally, I find buying designed and painted bases self-defeating!! The whole idea of modeling is to place whatever figurine you have painted on a base that you have created and painted yourself. I certainly wouldn't pay the prices they are asking. Besides, they are poorly painted, a child of five as probably painted them. Sorry, I'll stick to making my own.
