I do marshal only with Sage as well. I'm Silver Elo tho. Between Marshal and Op, I'd pick Marshal. I love the Marshal, ngl. It's a good training tool for getting more headshots and understanding angles.
I would suggest practicing your aim rather than only using the marshal, does it not transfer well into rifle usage or giving you any tangible practice for the rest of the game
if anything, id rather practice head taps on the ghost or sheriff to improve headshot tap transferability towards rifles
guardian exists and its better to practice headshots
@@keatonscroggins5421using marshal limits the possibilities of spraying and it makes you take time with shots, its more like if you don't get a kill you die, and yes practicing your aim is good too but imo using marshal is really fun since it takes you to a kill or be killed situation.
i started playing last month, have basically only been using the marshal. im unironically only able to play with a marshall, with the vandal or phantom im pretty much iron because i have no clue how to use them. (yikes) ive climbed to gold 2 and my iron friends no longer want to stack with me :(
my games either go well where i frag high enough that people don't flame me for it, and i buy my team guns, or everyone on the team is poor and i can't be blamed for buying a marshal lol
im currently trying to learn the guardian, then hopefully i can work my way up to a vandal from there! my friends make fun of me for it, when we go custom games and they go marshal only they force me to use a vandal HAHAHA
i am pretty horrible with gamesense though, im probably iron 1 in terms of it. i also dont know how to use utils so i just play sage to heal and rez teammates. as long as i rez them often enough they don't complain though, so i guess it's alright

On the subject on bottom fragging as a girl… I’m also a sentinel main (both Cypher and KJ)-
If those are unavailable due to the team structure (like alr 2 sentinel/initiator, 1 dualist), I’d go for reyna or neon.
Theres nothing wrong with bottom fragging, so long as you just help your team and improve.
the only op thing about old jett is that m2 kills giving you your knives back, if you're gonna enter site just activate the E pre-hand. and 3 smokes don't really matter since they last for like 5 seconds
I know it's been done before, but I think it would be interesting to watch Kaemi use Marshal, Shorty, and Chamber Utility only for a series to immo

The thing I love with marshal is that it can go against an op or a chalber ult and have better chances to win than a vandal imo, plus the better mobility when carrying it over the op

fun fact to egg, buying sheilds on ANY round works because if u get kill or pick up enemy's wepons u can change the round completely, i have done it alot, and yes i buy the 2nd round even after loss but it's a GAMBLE I M READY TO TAKE, as a omen main gamble is my 2nd name

Quarkwy and Kaemi used to play with Swens sometimes, they were the shotgun trio. Sage, Jett and Raze. Back when they were all small-ish youtubers. Unfortunately Swens doesn't actively make content rn anymore...

I did something similar to this but with the sentinel on apex in arenas, tm8s got mad and blamed me for losses even if I had twice their kills and damage

Not gonna lie, I used to have really really low confidence in my aim and is scared to use any of the snipers but after seeing a vid of kaemi shared by a friend of mine, I don't know why I was so facinated. Like they look soooo cool at the same time seem difficult but that gave me a boost and a goal. I'm currently trying to main marshal only and after months, I use snipers a lot better than any other guns. Kaemi inspired me to get better and somewhat gave me a challenge to conquer, although I don't see why people talk bad about someone like that, I salute and admire his skills and tolerance to such people. Up till this day, I feel honored when I amaze some people in my game because I am getting better with my flicks using marshal only and I can even buy them guns since I'm doing well with marshal.
The thing with pre dash "nerf" jett is i find it pretty much impossible to play that jett lol. Being able to set up the dash beforehand makes me more likely to dash after getting a kill.
For people like me, who's used to dashing immediately after pressing E, we almost die due to the fact that you need to ready your dash before actually dashing. Would be nice if they remove the ready part and just put a 1 or 1.5 second delay/charge up before dash.

when i play marshal, i just go for the hit, even if they heal they lose their armor which helps a lot for your teammates cuz it gets rid of 50 points :)
Light shields are all I buy on save after loss on pistol actually. Just for that reason :) g2 btw so maybe that explains my actions 😂
i used to play marshal after i found kaemi and it feels so light compared to op
"where does the Marshall fit in the meta" - op in light buy/eco rounds if you have insane aim. Strong in every other round if you have godly aim and can headshot everyone. Stronger than op if you only hit headshots, as it is more accurate on the move and shoots faster.
I honestly hope they let Raze pull her ult out quicker cause it is abysmal right now, or at least increase the radius. I rocketed a guy right next to me and he only got hit 148

Marshall works best on character's with high mobility, especially if you combo it with Shorty, it makes a good long and close range combo, you just need to be able to close distance quickly or dash/tp away
with the jett nerf i think that the knife nerf was a good call (way to op) but with the instant dash i think that it was annoying especially now you have agents like chamber who can instantly tp back to there safe spot i wish that they removed the animation and the pre dash
Obviously he holds angles eggwick, its a sniper rifle. The difference is you have to hit headshots instead of body like with the OP. It has fast reload for shots and clips, the hip fire is a lot better, but you have way less wallbang damage.

One time i went a round with a marshal and there's was a smoke party by jett, omen and brik in the same place i just shoted randomly and i got a headshot just "shoting in the smoke"
I think the operator is overpowered, you still need a lot of skill for the Marshall to work this good

If I am going to reply on if the marshal is overpowered, I think considering the price it is. It should be like 1100-1300 price range. 950 is why this is my go to eco/force/antieco weapon and it is pretty op considering the price.

You really cannot get mad at the dude that buys you the best guns in the game (round win or lost) and still top fragging. The argument of "but he would be better with a real gun" just can't compare to the overall improvement of each player on the team with the extra cash. It's still a team game at the end of the day, expecting more from the top fragger is really greedy. What does that make the player that's being toxic? a prop? an NPC? Kaemi probably prevents so many eco rounds with how efficient his spending is on top of his high combat score. There aren't a lot of players who can do what he's doing that's for sure.
The problem with this playstyle on Jett and why people shit on him even though he is top fragging is not unfair. If your Jett doesn't entry and keeps peeking the same angle every round and is racking up kills in the defending rounds., What use is Jett anymore, unless there are other entry agents.
There is a reason most of his kills are in defending rounds or late round kills.

If he does actually entry with a scout and gains space for his team, then I stand corrected but according to this highlight reel most of his kills are exit frags, late round lurk kills or defensive round kills. Not that anything is wrong with it, but it needs teammates who already know how you play.

This is why I love the marshall, at long distances, you can 1 tap. If you do a body shot, it only takes 2 shots to kill anyone on full armor
