When it comes to cleaning I like to wash the whole model in water, dish soap and an old tooth brush to get in the nooks and crannies. it takes a bit longer to dry but I know I'm not going to have any issues with paint sticking.
Hi. Amazing video. I just want to try your way of moduling. I am about to finish a Zveda Katyusha truck. What would be your AK light, base and shadow pattern recommendation, please. I want to use a flat olive (base) + brown olive (shadow), but I am afraid they look so different for transition!. Thanks for your advice. Please, please, keep sharing content for those of us eager to learn
I do always test on the underside to see how it will look first best to try that, you can always just add a bit of white to your flat olive to get the best match.
I am an Italian model maker. Thanks Genesis for the video lessons they are very interesting. Certain techniques I did not know. Corrado
Glad it was helpful!

My favourite modelling TH-camr btw. I notice you don’t have a spray booth, is it not needed for AK acrylics? Thanks in advance

@@genessismodels Ah right makes sense, thanks. Is it a good idea to have one even though they are water based paints?
I thought this was gonna be about weathering an AK lol
Still cool vid lmao
