    Great vlog Paul. I would agree with most if not all of the points that you make. As you may be aware, we looked at the Pegaso 590 at the beginning and fell in love with the airy feeling that we had the first time we went in one at the NEC. When we decided we couldn't justify the extra £8K for the Pegaso when all it gained was a small amount of additional storage and the position of the drop down bed, we started looking at the TLine 590 and got the same feeling. I hope we enjoy our motorhome as much as you do when we're eventually allowed to travel. I will need to check the seal around the door and the roof light fly screens and report back, but Andy doesn't need too many excuses to get his sealant gun out!!

      Thanks. We do like the Pegaso but as I used to be in the automotive glazing industry I would prefer knowing the windscreen is a standard Ducato not the Pegaso bespoke item. Same with the exterior mirrors.
      Please ask Andy what he uses if he does seal around the frames. Thanks for your comments and support.

    I think your 10 reasons are pretty much all the reasons we decided to get a Tline 590 back in Dec! Only had a few days trips before we went into lockdown but all ready to go hopefully later in the year. Have to agree about the gearbox. Coming from driving VW cars with DSG gearbox’s which I believe are the best, the new 9 speed fiat box is absolutely perfect in the motorhome.

      Before we changed the T6 to the RT we enquired on another T6 with the 150ps DSG auto. The place we purchased our van from originally offered us too low a value as a part exchange. When we went to the NEC and purchased our Roller Team I was glad we hadn’t done it as we couldn’t of purchased our Motorhome if we had. Thanks for watching and your comments.

    We were looking at the possibility of swapping out the two lights under the bed for some on stalks for reading with usb charging point on them as the van is lacking in usb points.

    Also if and when we are lucky enough to purchase a roller team T 590 we would probably get the shower cubicle waterproofed by having a plastic panel fitted on the wall in question, at the moment out of our price range, but one day we hope. Cheers 👍

    Paul, you touched on a bug bear of mine! We have a diesel heater in our van which I love (having run out of gas in the middle of night in a previous van! ). Combi (heat and water) units are available yet rarely seen. To my mind they should be a standard fit! Any thoughts?

    • @LiveforTravel
      @LiveforTravel  ปีที่แล้ว

      Which vans are the Combi units rarely seen? When we had the VW T6 we loved our diesel heater. It wasn’t particularly quiet, inside or out, but it was handy knowing that provided you had enough diesel in the tank you didn’t need to think of anything else. The combi fitted to the T-Line works well, when it doesn’t trip a warning, is economical and quiet (inside and out). Pros and cons for both.

      @@LiveforTravel I recently came across a review in MMM magazine, and the van conversion had a diesel combi fitted, first time I can recall one. All the gas did was work the hob!

    hi there, just bought my my very first motorhome, albeit a 20 year old boxer Star Dream Peugot, doing only 40k. Can I use my small airfryer within the the motorhome > so that i don't have to use the gas cooker of even the hob, it keeps it all clean and not so much smell permeating through the van

    • @LiveforTravel
      @LiveforTravel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      All vans are memory makers; new or new to you. An air fryer should be fine but it always depends on the wattage of the items and the available power available on site. Generally, providing you don’t use too many items at the same time it is ok. We have filmed a video highlighting what many of the typical items can be used on different sites with the various power outputs. Video here 👉 th-cam.com/video/dUxqTxJKHVU/w-d-xo.html

    Hi Paul,could you tell me if the gas hob has auto spark ignition.thanks

    • @LiveforTravel
      @LiveforTravel  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not auto. You hold the knob down to make the spark and release it after a few seconds of the gas being lit.

    How is it on diesel using the 9 speed auto gearbox?

    • @LiveforTravel
      @LiveforTravel  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We are tracking the MPG. We currently have achieved between 25 to just under 30. We think up to 35 should be possible as the engine loosens up.

    Hi would you still recommend a Roller Team having owned one for quite a while ? I’m considering purchasing an a new Pegaso . Cheers Shaun.

    • @LiveforTravel
      @LiveforTravel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      A great question. We would buy another again, however, like with many manufacturers, some people have had issues and of those some have been unable to get the issues fixed under warranty. We have a video soon that compares warranties of the top 20 motorhome manufacturers here in the UK.
      Pegaso is a beautiful van. We personally chose not to based on the price and that, because my trade was automotive glass, the potential problems sourcing parts that are unfortunately “consumables” such as the windscreen and exterior mirrors. Bespoke items are not as prolific in the aftermarket as those fitted to a standard vehicle.
      Whichever you choose, we wish you many happy travels.

    Hi, I am looking at hiring one of these for week on the NC 500, what I would like to know is if you think the van will be big enough to sleep me and my wife plus a 15 and 12 year old daughters. Thanks for the vid 👍

    • @LiveforTravel
      @LiveforTravel  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you have watched any of our travel videos/campsite reviews you will see we use our van with the 2 kids (10 and 14). 2 years of using the van and it works for us. It doesn’t mean of course that this would work for everyone. If hiring, have you used a van for holidays before? If not, it might be wise to spend the first night locally (or outside your house) to get a bit of practice. The point to be aware of with the layout is that, realistically, when the kids go to bed you will likely also go to bed as the seating area is also the sleeping area.
