The way your beard grows is like a fingerprint; no two faces are identical in looks or beard growth pattern. So it’s best to let it grow out and map your own.
Happy International Sticky Toffee Pudding Day!!! This is the razor that got me into wet shaving. I'm a big James Bond fan, and he uses a Slim Adjustable in Goldfinger which came out in 1964. I know all the Slims are the same, but I think the '64s are extra cool because they're more likely to have a gadget from Q in the handle. I built an acoustic guitar from scratch. It was a pretty fun project. I'd love to have a Gibson hollow body. The 335 is a great guitar.
Hello, grandfather.. I'm enjoying the video. I guess the weather is nice in England now? Always be healthy. It's good to know a lot about shaving products. Good.
Very exciting close up of your beard. I’ll have to try that on my face. I recently grew out my beard for 6 days just to test out my Karve Overlander and Gillette Platinum blade. Both handled the growth much better than I ever imagined. I did however look like a homeless guy before I shaved. My wife thought I was an intruder.
First off, wow. Great sound in your band. I love the blues, its my favorite music. Next, great shave. Im gonna look into getting that cream. Sounded great. Have a great week
Nice shave Kevy 🪒💈✌🏼great to see you!! Well all I can say Kevy I’ve met Mark Knopfler while back and what a nice guitars he is got nothing like Dire Straits mate 😁I’ll try to post some photos on IG 😉 That being said we appreciate you Kevy with such talent 👊🏻nice guitars tho!! Cheers Alan H
Thanks 👍 I saw an auction website is selling off some of Mark Knopflers guitars just now. www.christies.com/en/auction/the-mark-knopfler-guitar-collection-29972/?lid=1&sc_lang=en&cid=EM_SEM%7CACCT:ChristiesIconicCollections%7CCMP:21929LIVEJan24BrandUK%7CAG:a%7CENGINE:GOOGLE%7CNT:SEARCH%7CRG:UK%7CBANNER:%7CIMG:%7CKW:christie%27s%20mark%20knopfler%20auction%7CMT:p%7CSID:21929&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiA5L2tBhBTEiwAdSxJX8QkuOgSPSrHFd7j_x_UHqXTm33GwaOWJ95Odglgkj4QoBvM2wYbcBoCKY0QAvD_BwE
Great shave. The Gibson SG would be one guitar I would love to own if I was the guitarist. Oh well. At least being a drummer instead of a guitarist is better than nothing. My stubble grows down on my cheeks, face and chin, but on the neck the hairs grow outwards in different directions. So I’m going actually in the direction my stubble grows instead of all downwards in the WTG pass. Have a good one!
Nice shave Kevy. I have for a long time went the low to high settings on an adjustable razor and find it works really well for me. I can remember the first time I tried it, I had less irritation than doing it high to low. My way of thinking with this method is, on the latter passes, the hair is at it's shortest and would be easier to catch/cut with a larger blade gap, so its a method I have used from them on.
Face mapping is absolutely essential. Without it, I would get nicks every time. My hair grows horizonally outwards on my neck and I like to go against the grain. It's sometimes difficult to manipulate the skin on my face but when I first started out I called the thing you do at 18:33 the "Kevy tuck", as that helped a lot with getting my curved neck/jawline to become flat.
Kevy, Next time you're passing M&S, give their "Royal Jelly Body Butter" a try, it's an excellent post shave cream! Only a fiver a tub, leaves your face silky smooth all day long. Top man👍
Nice shave Kevy. When I use my Merica razor it seems like I have no or less pick up. The great thing about wet shaving is you do what works for you. I agree with you. There are so many variables, there can't be a wrong way to do your shave. Everybody's skin and beard is different. Everybody's taste in scents is different. That is part of what makes this hobby so interesting and fun. Have a great week. 👍💈
Hi Kevy, Great video as usual. I have been shaving with my Schick krona that past few shaves and man is it a wonderful razor. With any blade it gives me a nice smooth shave. Wishing you all the best from Connecticut to Scotland..
Hey Kevy nice shave.might have a wee look at purchasing the soap in the near future did the job well for you.hope you have a great week and take care of yourself 🙂
My shaving dream has always been to really finish after the 3rd pass with no need for pickups. I doubt that will ever happen. I just have to keep reminding myself that too many strokes on the touch up pass will result in razor bumps on the neck. Often what feels like remaining stubble is really below the skin and once the skin recovers from the blade assault in 10 minutes, the skin feels smooth and that stubble is back below the upper epidermis.

Band sounds great Kevy. Even Brenda was impressed. Good see a product coming out of Scotland. Impressive lather. Hopefully catch soon. Good work .
Cheers 👍
Great Video! I like how you showed how your hair grows in different directions and not everyone is the same. 👏🙂 You're a great guitar player too 🎸🎸😊
Thank you so much!!
A really nice shave. My dream guitar is a Gibson Explorer. The guitar I regret that I traded in was a gold Epiphone SG. Miss it alot.
New name for me, just gave them a follow, good to another 🇬🇧 brand pop up. Looks a very slick soap. 👌

Good choice on settings.

Hi Kevy very nice shave!😊
Have a great weekend 👍
Thanks, you too!
Although I don't usually adjust razors during a shave, low to high makes sense to me. More efficiency to get the last few hairs.
Good to see you, Kevy 👊🏼
😊👍

Glad you enjoyed it
top shave Kevy👌
🎉🎉🎉🎉 excellent shave Kevy
Thanks 😊
Awesome blues!
Thanks a lot!
Nice!!!
Things are good. New Yintal razor. Copy of the Razorock Mamba. Works pretty good and all stainless for 26 bucks American.
My beard does that too. Against the grain on my neck is towards my ears.
Do you find a slant razor works better on your odd growth or an R41? I do.
I like a slant razor but they always cause weepers for me! 😂 R41 is a beat of a razor.
Good music video. How long ago was it?
14 years ago! Now i feel old 😂
@@kevyshaves4109 you're not old - mature is all!
Love my Gillette slims. I love the Fatboys also.
Hi Kevy is that Shaving bowl available on Amazon?
Not that I know of. Actually, i forgot to put the link to the pottery that makes them in the video description. I'll do it now. Cheers. Kevy 😀
I'm confused. If it is for discerning gentleman, how come you are using it? 😜🤪😝
😂
Abi sen sabah işe giderkenmi çekiyorsun bunu yoksa kafana göre saattemi😊
I can’t unsee that segment Kevy 🫣. Have you been experimenting with those (adult) gummies again?
😂😉
