I never separate colors either. I do wash socks and underwears seperately though. Since covid, I wash outside clothes and indoor clothes seperately. I guess it doesn’t really matter but I feel better doing that :)
@@minimalease I have been working in my basement since the beginning of the new year. It is a slow and steady process, but I've used a lot of your tips and tricks and it is getting sooo much better!!
I have not found that the dryer balls help to dry things faster. However, I do use them for sheets & blankets as they stop them from bunching up into a ball.

Does have to be wool though and not acrylic or cotton - because they are felted, and the wool has little 'barbs' in it that helps the strands adhere to each other. Looks like a fun craft project too! th-cam.com/video/78LMI9oQ4X8/w-d-xo.html Also, [;ease don't apologise for how your laundry looks - not many of us start out with the perfect house!
But also, if you're just trying to get your laundry to dry faster, then pop a completely dry towel (bath or beach size) in with the load and that really helps cut down drying time.
My least favorite chore is folding and putting away laundry. We have 5 in our family and clothing is hard for me to declutter. Laundry is the most mundane thing I do during my day of being a SAHM so I think that's why it's the hardest!
I love rubber dryer balls. Keeps clothes from tangling and dry more evenly.
I always just throw everything in to wash together. Never have problems!

I've used the wool dryer balls for years! They do help items dry faster and reduce static cling. They're relatively inexpensive so it's worth a try
Yes, the timer is a great tip to use to declutter! Thanks for sharing your process!
