Not the most scenic city but there's some kind and lovely people there and Texas Tech is a great university. Some of the neighborhoods are actually quite nice.
The home of Texas tech University I was out there this past October to check out the campus and it's pretty big and pretty interesting obviously I didn't explore the rest to city cuz I know how boring it is unless you like on living on campus cost living is pretty low here
I may have driven through Lubbock on the way from northern Alabama to Los Angeles on Interstate 40. It's one of those cities out in the middle of nowhere as you're growing up you always think about moving to Los Angeles or else joining the military.
I was curious about the weather of Lubbock as it is the most northern of Texas cities. I presume the summers are scorching hot and the winters are snowless except for frost and are frigid cold, especially at night.
@@CreatorPluggReacts Well in basic terms it has recovered, but it just does not seem very vibrant. Now Mike might have been there on a Sunday, but there seems to be a lack of buildings for a town of 263 k
Urban road renewal, and plenty of it. Texas, where you can get on the freeway. Or not. And the Texas turn-around. Home of the Wed Waders. Nice campus, and some pretty women. Ted Liggett. You know what he does. Guess he can in Texas, but maybe not in New Mexico.
Merci Mike, super voyage :). L'université est vraiment très grande !
Yes! Can you do please Marble Falls, TX - 4K Drive.
This is very nice to see you do
That’s my hometown

Anything east of University Av. is consider the hood of the city until you get outside of Loop 289

My girlfriend used to live in Lubbock 35 years ago
I grew up in Lubbock
It appears the downtown never quite recovered from the tornado that struck the city on May 11, 1970.
