I work for tracker and build the sun tracker pontoons. The 22 models have canopy speaker which we upgraded in 2023 models. We now have kicker speakers in all couches and MUCH better sound quality. We take each and every comment into consideration to make the next model even better.

Glad to hear I just purchased today a 2023 sport fish 22 dlx with the 150 mercury. I’m excited about it.
Would you know how tall the pontoon is while sitting on the trailer? My garage door is 8foot tall and wanted to see if it would fit.
I have to be honest. If the BassPro in my area wasn’t a complete garbage store I would likely have a Tracker Pontoon of some kind but the BassPro in Concord Mills Charlotte North Carolina DO NOT CARE TO SELL BOATS AT ALL as they WILL NOT help customers even if you practically beg them to sell you a boat. I tried to buy a boat there two straight summers before I finally left in a super-huff and accidentally passed by a Harris Boat dealer on the way home.
I stopped in this store called MarineMax and I bought a 22’ Harris Tritoon w/ Mercury 150hp and Trailer! Did I pay way more??? Heck yeah I did!!! Lol BUT they treated me like a human being and sold me a boat in less than an hour!!! It took 3 days for my boat to be delivered to the store and setup to my specifications but it was worth that minor wait. This was a huge purchase for me.
The only things I’ve added to my boat are the Minn Kota 10’ TALONS. I put one one the back and one on the front. We mostly hang out at the sandbar and anchors suck in the sand. This was an very expensive add-on but very worth it and really adds to the value of your boat.
I love my Harris but this vid is about Tracker so I’ll say the conclusion I came to from looking at boats for two years is that Tracker boats are as high quality as the higher-end names like Harris, Avalon, Barletta, Godfrey, Sylvan and others that I looked at. Tracker has better storage solutions and more innovative things like rod holders and fishing stations etc.
Honestly the only thing I don’t really like about Tracker pontoons is the colors they offer and this is a really small thing n my book!
Another really good looking pontoon boat that impressed me in my search was Ranger. Ranger is one of the highest end Bass boats but is considered a budget pontoon boat. Again limited bland colors but otherwise awesome boats for the $$$
"George" I just bought a 22 Fishing Barge DLX from a dealer here in central Fla. A lot closer for service etc, same price as Bass Pro or boat dealer. The Ranger is under the same umbrella along with Mako, Nitro, Regency, Tahoe and I think Triton also. I didn't realize that some boat dealers carried these also, until I looked online and clicked on 'find a dealer'. I bought mine with a 150. I like the Fishing Barge model because of the extra room, with the two fishing chairs in the front and two in the rear. It has quite a bit more open space.

Looks like they switched from the small speakers on the bimini frame back to full size speakers under the seats? How many speakers did they install? We ordered an identical boat in January, and I'm hoping they've done the same on ours. I heard the small bimini-mounted speakers did not work well. I guess I'll find out next month!

Hey Ryan, I actually think this boat was a carry over from late in 2021 as the motor is a 2021 model but the boat is a 2022.. I was glad to find that the speakers were installed in the seat instead of the bimini top as well. It has 4 speakers. We took this boat out the next day after this video was taken and it was one smooth dry ride!! Very impressed with the handling on the water. It was also very easy to reload on the trailer. Overall we are very pleased with this boat and look forward to many days on the lake this summer.

Hey there. What was your maximum speed after break in. Your dad said 35 to 38 mph. Mine is exactly like his and I'm only hitting a max of 22 mph
32-33 has been the top so far.
I don’t mean to insult you by asking dumb questions so please don’t take that way ok but do you know how to trim your motor on the fly to get it on plane??? I would say this would be the first place to start in finding your answer
@@GeorgeBonez You're exactly right. That "wing" by the prop has to be parallel to the water surface to get max speed. Trim angle is the difference between the "wing" and the boat deck, just as reference. Any adjustment to get the boat nose up or down which results in the "wing" not being parallel to the water surface will result in drag.
