1955, 1956,1957 Chevy car door latch and striker differences

Two designs. They could be mix matched but one way could cause door to be hard to open and shut

Good video and interesting news! May explain why some of my old Tri 5 Chevy pickups use to have a problem with the doors coming open when driving in rough terrain! Always wondered about that!!??
