- Scout amongst the Bulrushes
Hi everyone, Jo here again. Thanks for joining me today where I am going to be using the new Distress Oxide ink…Scorched Timber,,,such a beautiful charcoal brown,,,,
I am going to blend it with Mustard seed to create a beautiful backdrop for our fabulous little Scout.
We have so many other stamps that will look great on this background, I bet you can find quite a few.
I have decided to team Scout up with our Bulrushes and Maple leaf.
Our finishing touches today will be provided by some water splats, and white pastel pencil.
So it is time to put the kettle on and get comfortable…
Hugs
Jo xx

Beautiful Jo, loving these two colours together, think I need that scorched timber! ❤
Love your attention to details
Your card is beautiful! I love your colors choices. Thank you for listing the items you used in the description box. It makes it easier and quicker for us to get the supplies so we can duplicate your card. Have a blessed week.
My pleasure…thanks so much for watching x💛
Lovely
So beautiful!
I really enjoy all your videos! I have learned so much from watching you. Thank you Jo😉
Great design Jo. I must try this!
Beautiful, that new colour is lovely. Another one on the list😅
Lovely card Jo!
This is so lovely Jo. Love the colours together.
Love these Jo. Thank you. Hope you’re feeling better soon x
Thanks so much 😊
Jo!!! this is probably the best blending method explained to me. Thank you very much. I just got scout and I think I am just about brave enough to start my Lavinia journey. Scared stiff, but I am going to give this card a go. You are blimmin amazing.
They are lovely Jo! I just ordered the scorched timber this morning. I'd been thinking of you, it will be a good one to do that faux wood burning technique where you stamp with that, and spray the stamp with water, dry, then stamp over it with a dark brown Versafine Clair, I know you love your wood burning ❤
Another beauty Jo. Would you consider doing a few journalling page entries in the future? I have created dozens of Lavinia scenes but am at a loss as to how to put them in my journal. I have watched the journalling pages you have done but would love some more inspiration. Thanks Jo.
You make it look effortless but I know it’s not, this is beautiful
Hi Jo, I absolutely love to watch your videos. I need to make a March calendar page and have no ideas. I want to make something like a windy, chilly day. In Canada the weather is still cold and generally windy and no flowers or leaves coming in yet. Also, I struggle to make landscape cards specifically for the calendar. Most nice designs look better portrait style.
So Beautiful colours are amazing ❣ Thankyou so much and feel better soon 🌻🌻🌻
These are beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
Jo, would you be allowed to tell us what your Inky Binky is made of and what it is? It seems so light and to clean so well without lint. I use microfiber towels and still seem to get some lint. Adding white pastel pencil on the moon did a tremendous amt. for it. I was amazed. I loved the card. Just beautiful, and in 2 colors I do not normally care for. Amazing.❤
Thanks so much for watching…my inky Binky is a cotton napkin…I find it so useful…hope that helps xx🧡
