Should've got the xenith pads, I used both before and I can say xenith is better. It covering your chest only protects you better when you're getting hit it hasn't slowed me down, and xenith pads are used in high school at img so you know they work well. And you should get him a speedflex or f7 cause they protect the brain way better. I use the f7 but theyre both good vicis also has good protective helmets. and his head shouldnt be poking under the helmet i think you should get another size or sum. because his head poking under can lead to him getting hit in the chin and that dont feel well lol.
