Had the same problem. So I drilled out the rivet, which was no big deal. Luckily, I found the plastic parts undamaged only a srew was needed to put back. I then drilled a 3.5mm hole to cut an M4 thread into the long bolt part of the rivet. I couldnt use some ordenary bolt and screw as I am using the Maxi Cosi adapters on it. The head of the screw would block the adapter to slide in properly. Using the original bolt threaded, an M4 screw and some thread lock fluid solved it. It took me less than a hour, so it is definetely worth repairing it.

I hope it would have been simpler. so the solution is to use the stroller without folding it. or throw it away. :(

I used Knipex Cobra Pliers to peel the rivet off and it worked well. Luckily the inner plastic part was undamaged, just the skrew was needed to put back. Then used the same size bolt and nut as the rivet was to put it back together. Must say that I'm really satisfied with the result. :)

Sorry to say . But u r doing wrong . The correct way is just spray some WD40 and slightly tap it with the Hammer from every angle . And it will be back to normal .

This is a very old video, but thanks for the tip. I'll try it your way if we get this problem in again :)
