I found it different for each of my birds. Scout - she doesn’t hop. She dances, she is super intelligent and loves to explore. She loves to play but not with me but wants me to watch her play. She didn’t develop her caique like personality until she was about 9-10months. She likes to be with us but also alone. ? Why do have these birds? Wow, Seems like they are your children, not pets. Having pets is purely a selfish human thing we do for fun and entertainment, unless they serve purpose like hunting dogs or something.. These animals are meant to be in the wild aren’t they? Seems like you are craving motherhood. You would probably make a very good mother. Raising children can make the world a better place with good parenting.
Thank you, I am a mother, I believe a very good one. I know your heart it is in the right place when making this comment and you meant well. I feel it should be somewhat focused on people who neglect/abuse their pets as there are many out there in this world and not on someone who is looking after their pets well. Owning a pet is 100% a privilege not a right. There are many great causes to protect animals to great behind, that I feel you will be great in. And in fact to protect children as well. If you want your life turned upside down.....get a parrot!! No joke!!
100%!
where did you buy those balls
Please give water
I’m thinking of getting me one but when time goes by does the hair on top of them start to turn orange?
In the wild there is two different species, blackheaded and whiteheaded. So no they don't change color while getting older:)
Hoped that helped you out
J Johnsson is correct there are two types. My two are blacked-headed caiques. The orange headedcaiques are called white-bellied caiques ☺️
Fun fact they live on different sides of a river and therefore got there head color different.
That’s awesome!
Name Of the Bird?! And price??
It’s a Caique Parrot. Price depends on breeder 🙂
but they don't actually get in the water??
no, so odd I know! I try to but they just want to be in there and sing.
@@scoutthecaiqueparrot9288 If people only researched parrots like i did before making a poor spur of the moment decision, these rescues wouldn't be jammed full! I'm a disciplinarian, "oh what, you don't wanna go in the water!?" "Too bad here you go!!" LOL. Can't work with parrots like that! Honestly i just don't have the patience to deal with the amount of fear these animals can exhibit. I'd b the one with the spray bottle or a broom when the screaming starts!
I'm on so many bird pages where they are constantly getting rehomed. Its horrible. Its a lifetime pet.
They benefit from the shower steam, their favourite bathtime is when I vaccum! I put multipule bowls out for them to hop in and out of. lol
@@scoutthecaiqueparrot9288 Vacuum???
Your birds are so cute! By the way your diet is not a good nutritional diet for birds, make sure to do your research!
Thanks for your feedback, I'll take it onboard :)
I just want to tell you not to feed them seeds unless training and no fruit together with the vegetables fruit should also be uses as a treat
Thank you, I’ll take it onboard
My white bellied caique hates to be cage, so I spend alot time with him, because he's my only caique and my conure hates him
I will really appreciate if you can help me get a pair. I have been looking for one for a long time.
I’d recommend researching a breeder near where you liv and they will point you in the right direction

❤️❤️
This is male and female!!?
2 females 😊
@@scoutthecaiqueparrot9288 nope one of them is banded on their right let which symbolizes a male parrot while the other has it on their left which symbolizes female
That’s really interesting. They have both been dna tested. We even thought one could be a boy and got her retested because she keeps humping her sister. It came back as female 🤷🏼♀️
@@scoutthecaiqueparrot9288 that's interesting. Check out if they could be a hermaphrodite, I used to work with an amazon parrot who was dna male but was then *humped* by our other male. Chance is they could be both genders.
If put A Bird In A Running Shower = Deadly
i have a white bellied caique
it likes to steal my food😢
Bro spoke British 💀
too small of a cage love
Consider YOUR age before getting one. It might outlive you. Make arrangements for that possibility.
100%! We will out live ours 👍🏼 unless they live 50-60 years. Then it will be our kids
there loud?? but not 1 clip them making loud noises lol
Where do I got to snare a bird lady wife?
😂😂😂
Caique, Not cake.💀
Caiques are NOT LOUD---- just fyi!!! They hardly make any noice at all!
Wow, you are very lucky! I’m on caique forum and majority agree they are loud.
Remember to always be kind x
cakes ain't parrots
STOP CALLING THEM CAKES!
