Great tribute. Hard to believe he is "one of your favorites" and not your favorite. He is easily my favorite actor.

I’ve loved Rutger since I saw him in the Hitcher. He was enigmatic and gorgeous.

Its such a fantastic performance, I'm looking forward to the new blu ray release from Second Sight that is being over seen by director Robert Harmon.

Thanks Karen, I really appreciate it. There is something about this man I love, he was always one of favourites, he is one of those actors who seems to look right through the screen at you and gives you a smile and makes you feel something different to the others, such a great actor. I'm so glad the film helped you to understand why you like him a little too! Thanks for watching.

Like Clint Eastwood, Rutger was able to make you think he could be like his characters in real life if need be. There are no other actors who do that to me personally but these two.
    (My pseudo is intentional ;)

We truly lost something in this actor. We lost one of the best

He is always so magnetic, a real pleasure to watch, I think his genuine love of life really comes through in his work. I'm so glad we have the body of work he left us :)

Rutger Hauer was a legendary actor. To me he stole the shows from Sylvester Stallone in Nighthawks to Harrison Ford in Blade Runner. He was brilliant in The Hitcher even in Paul Verhoeven films Turks Fruits, Soldier of Orange and Flesh and Blood. I even like his small parts in Batman Begins and Sin City I would of prefer to see him in more scenes but he is still memorable.
He was a sad loss to cinema.

I could write about Rutger Hauer for weeks; maybe even months. His unequalled physical features; those glinting silvery-blue eyes, the shock of golden hair, those smooth cheeks and jawline, a strong neck, (without a bulging adam's apple, thank God!!), his solid body, without being grotesquely muscle-bound, all these features and much more PULLED ONE IN!!---into his magical world of unique acting and his one of a kind style. The world misses you, Rutger. I WILL MISS YOU POSSIBLY THE MOST.....😢❤❤❤
