Thank you for you time showing everyone how to get these beautiful plants started. I have these plants growing near my home so I collected seed pods in all different stages of maturity. I used the paper towel method with seeds ranging from large green to small brown after soaking for 24 hours. The large green seeds sprouted within 3 days. So I suggest if you have access to seed pods that are just starting to turn brown, to use those as they start growing very fast.

ive been growing mine on a pot and it already flowered 2x. its not even 1 year old
    i germinate it by
    soaking seed 24 hrs
then wet tissue for 1 week (i use rain water, 3rd day it already has roots but i like for it to grow more before i plant it on a pot
note: i tried feeding one of my plant urea about less than a teaspoon and the plant died

Thanks so much for your video. This is the most detailed and most explanatory video I've seen on TH-cam about how to grow these gorgeous plants. The other people that posted videos on how to grow these peacock flowers from seeds didn't even bother to soak them first. Most other videos didn't show what kind of soil they used either. Well done. Your video is by far superior! 🤗👍🙌

Wow! That is amazing to watch. I've watched several of your videos and I'm blown away at your success. I've tried planting bonsai seeds that I've bought and have had really no success at all. After watching your video, I've been inspired to try it again with the paper towel method. Thank you for the video!

Say, just wanted to let you know, I planed some Chinese wisteria tree seeds using your method and had really good results. All of the seeds sprouted roots, and are thriving in the soil, hopefully, I can raise them to maturity. Thanks again for your knowledge!

Thank you Ayanta, I tried your method and I have some seedlings. In California they called it, Mexican Bird of paradise. I get inspired by your gift of making plants grow.
I was able to grow some seedlings of the Royal Ponciana, but they end up dying- for some reason all the seeds that I ordered from ebay end up spoiled when I used the paper towel method used in your video. I going to order from different vendor and keep trying.

I can get the seeds to sprout so easily, but once I sow them, it's over... I used 50 perlite 50 potting soil. Maybe it's the direct sunlight, I'll try in the garage.

I put seed in water for 1 day, seed became bigger and was yellow-greenish, I planted in small container with black soil, after 4 days, when I was watering the
soil, I saw the seed, this time it was completely yellow, is it a sign it's growing?

Hi Ayanta, Great video! Can you do a follow up video on how the peacock flower seedlings are doing now? Also do advice on care of the seedlings(water and sun requirements, re potting etc) once they hve sprouted. (I seem to have some problems with the leaves falling and turning yellow :'(...). Maybe you could share some after germination care advice! Thanks.

This plant is common in Nicaragua, it is absolutely stunningly beautiful, and sometimes they can get quite large! Does anybody know if this plant is nitrogen-fixing? I want to use it in permaculture as a nitrogen fixer. I think that it should work because it is a legume but I am not sure

Thanks so much. I have not had any problems germinating them, but keeping young seedlings alive in the dry California winds has been devastating.
A couple of perhaps helpful comments: You may want to say "cup" instead of "glass." A glass in English is always made of glass - never of any other material. If a vessel of another material (ceramic, clay, bone, metal, plastic, etc.) is similarly small and holds liquids, it is usually called a cup, or similar.
Also, you might want to emphasize that your "glasses / cups" appear to be well-drained by holes at the bottom.
    Cheers!
