Mr. Fruit talking about bunny hops got me thinking, I haven't seen a good reason for there to even be a jump button in most "modern" FPS games. It's basically just there out of convention I suppose and no one questions it. It'd be interesting to see the response to an FPS that forewent the jump button...
They’re literally is no excuse for it in this game. They never was in the division either.

Really enjoying my time (albeit short) in Xdefiant so far as well. I love Division, Ghost Recon, Splinter cell, and all Tom Clancy in general, so I will be grinding away when I have time. Loving the videos as always Mr. Fruit!
Honestly I'm the same, played for an hour or two last night, only up to level 10, and can honestly say Ive not had this much fun in an FPS in a long time. It's nice seeing the references and areas from the games I grew up loving ( and still enjoy to this day ) as well.
XDefiant has made a big statement about not having SBMM. It’s such a refreshing break from the sweat.
And also it has Xbox vs PlayStation lobbies only it's cool 😊

@@Zlittlepenguin hey little penguin 👋, trust me not all of them are like that, like how COD is, sometimes you get good lobbies where u get a lot of kills and it's fun as heck, but since it's no SBMM every now and then you will get good players on your team vs other good players, and vise versa, but don't fret just keep playing trust me, you'll get that lobby you are looking for😃
@@willardwyler2275 actually the beginning game mode are playing until level 25 is in fact skill base matchmaking says so when you join the match doesn’t seem to work

Always love watching Fruit play any CoD like shooter cause he gets LOCKED IN
It will definitely take longer but i prefer the lvl system compared to cods ridiculous challenges like needing to crouch walk everywhere or lay prone in random spots for a cammo. My only complaint is that i wish there were more cammos other than the mastery one's because to me that basically confirms every non mastery cammo will be either battle pass or shop

hey mr fruit , hunt showdown is getting an engine update and overhaul in august, and it seems like it would be the perfect time to jump back in and make some content. i always loved your hunt videos in the past (its what got me into the game) and would love to see you try to find your way around the new map
I’m not saying they’re very good at their roles, but it has a pretty well defined healer role. It has a support role from providing Intel. It has a tank roll and it has a clearly defined DPS roll. No heroes if they were heroes we could expect a plate of added in characters with each with their own abilities, but resolved with simply run out of games to pluck them from.
I hopped back into the finals recently and that game is still a lot of fun. Highly recommend revisiting.

I’m having trouble getting the aiming down on this one. Fun but we’ll see if I can get the hang of it. If nothing else my crappy aim will make it more fun for everyone else…
according to the first patch notes, the decs are nerfing b-hopping and they double-downed on not having sbmm. there’s other good stuff on there that i forget details for but it’s looking good so far
Since the finals, I also haven’t played any shooters, and I’m not quite ready to return to them. If this game is still around in a few months I’ll check it out, it seems like fun

I actually love this game! It's a good change of pace from other games I play (Helldivers 2, for honor). Considering it's just released it's in a great place already. I think the only thing I'd like to see updated asap is skill based matchmaking as the amount of games I've been in where my team stomps the other or the other way around is insane

Sometimes I miss these kind of dumb fun video, like the old blops 4 ones, just Mr. Fruit popping off.
Recently rewatch those ones, the shotgun dragon breath is one of the funniest.
But then sometimes I feels tire of gaming overall, don't even want to boot it up. Quit gaming for a while, now I want to comeback but all of my friends moved on, myself also doesn't have much free time to play too, so maybe it's time for I should quit it permanently.

Game looks promising but I agree with the assessment that it may not hold its ground. I personally don't see enough difference from CoD for it to become a mega sensation but I could be proven wrong soon.

If you're hating having to deal with shields just switch to EMP grenades. They get rid of everything but the phantom ults. So u can cook cuz I know ur aims impeccable👨🏾🍳.
I bunny hopped in Black Ops 4, but it made sense to me. I can't help but not be happy with the 100% accuracy bunny hopping in this game. STILL LOVE THE GAME, just not the hoppin

i feel like some things need to be balanced a bit as some things feel strong, but that being said, it does feel great!
I do wish some time they release like a TDM or K confirmed mode cause a lot of matches I played pretty much one sided cause people played for kills and not objectives lol. Also the hit registration is wild?? I got sniped at the midway level when I was escorting and moved behind the wall next to the sphinx head??

All this game did for me was confirm that I'd rather be playing a singleplayer game. At least i can be good at those, and if i suck it's my fault and not some nerd who has been playing for 8 hours a day.

it's fun just knowing your playing against Xbox and PlayStation only, you may have PlayStation teammates and Xbox teammates vs other Xbox and PlayStation teams 😊
It has flaws but I haven't had this much fun with an FPS in a LONG time.
I don't mind the jumping round corners that's been a thing even in likes of Cod4
I'm not a fan of how jumping works in this game, though it's like being in low gravity with the amount of control you have mid-air to the point you can essentially u turn in the air with enough momentum. Just doesn't feel right and looks goofy af.
Also, jumping on the spot and being able to strafe around mid-air is also just dumb af
