The one problem I have with A Hat in Time was Death Wish as a whole. Even if it did bring us Peace and Tranquility.
Hat in Time was a great game, and still my favourite game. With it's memorable moments and characters. Not to mention how cute Hat Kid and Bow Kid are, how funny Conductor is, and Snatcher just being awesome as a whole.
Man, it's so sad how under-rated this game is since it was over shadowed by the release of Mario Odyssey and Cuphead. I hope it gets a lot more popularity in the future!
Edit: Came back to this on a night where I just couldn't sleep, time for a trip down memory lane!
Yeah, the timing of the release is horrid. With being released after cuphead and before mario oddesey.
People are really missing out the beauty of this amazing little game.

Also, what’s wrong with Death Wish? I mean, it is insanely hard, but I found it pretty fun between the moments that I threw my monitor across the room

Man, it's been years and this game still holds a special place in my heart. It's honestly the only game that brought me back to a time when I myself was a kid playing games. Also probably reinforced why I decided to become a game developer. One day, I hope I can make something that makes people feel the way Hat in Time made me feel.
I come back here everytime i feel sad... and trust me it helps me a lot.
Mafia Town is Asleep is one of the best pieces of music in any game. Period.

When I first moved out of my home town for college and was so utterly alone, AHIT's soundtrack genuinely made things easier for me. I just remember myself dancing while doing laundry while listening to Peace and Tranquility. The OST is truly special.
15:37 Never truly listened to that song cause the narrator talks over it, and I always press A after the dialogue is over, so I missed out on the later parts of the song. God damn, it's beautiful.

It’s also a shame that apparently the console releases didn’t get the DLCs or basically any updates as far as I know, so anyone who isn’t playing on PC probably doesn’t like it as much.
@@johnbuscher somehow switch got the dlc, but i'm not complainin, i guess you could say it's 'a-hit' on the road ;3 not sorry for the pun. Love this game to pieces though, hands down. (plus apparently a line got cut from current versions of the game - from the full release of the game, i'm sure there's more - , the "you're such a disrespectful young lady" from snatcher)

A Hat In Time is one of the best games i've ever played, And helped me forget the entire world for a lot of times I felt lonely. There is honestly no games other than A Hat In Time and Minecraft that has done this much for me.
I got this game during lockdown and it's music... is just something else, I bought the soundtrack to just put me at ease when things were rough at home.

God, A Hat In Time is such a great game man, I love everything about it, even the modding community! This game will always hold a special place in my heart and is probably my favorite platformer / adventure game I’ve ever played.

i actually never heard the alpha bookstore theme and it is just sooo good.
Also, the end is one of THE MOST best song i've ever heard, you just can't change my mind.

Finished the game. Man, the OST in this game was brilliant. Gave me so much nostalgia to when i was playing Mario 3d land, which i played as a kid. 10/10 recommend this game
The first one brought me back to 2017-2018. Life was… a lot simpler back then. I almost wish I could go back and experience it all again….

Something about AHiT's music that seems so nostalgic. Like I had my fair share of Nintendo's games where their music is great. But AHiT's Soundtrack actually wakes my inner childhood and I'm not sure what's the reason.

Man, this music is really amazing, it's quite calming and soothing! If only Gears for Breakfast could make a real-life A Hat in Time cartoon TV show.
Ever since I defeated A Hat In Time, I felt... Empty. I felt something was missing. Funny, because I felt this exact empty feeling when I defeated Undertale. I remember the fun moments I had, the laughing moments I had, the *raging moments I had,* and the one moment where I predicted that there was some sort of relation between Snatcher and Vanessa, when I was right. It felt good to be right but, it was also sad to see Snatcher and Vanessa's relationship get stabbed repeatedly. I just don't know what's missing, I feel like I need to know more, but I also feel as if I know enough about the game, and that there is nothing else to learn about.

I think the empty feeling was I needed to experience the adventure again. I finally went back to AHIT, completed mafia town, acted in movies, signed contracts, and whacked out purple weeds once more. I don't feel that empty feeling anymore. I feel complete. I'll be getting Nyakuza Metro soon enough, I can't wait.
Thanks! Now I can enjoy my tea and dumpling combo while listening to some really nice and super relaxing music. And maybe half way through I'll switch it up to my chocolate cake and juice box :3

Can't get "Mafia Town is Asleep" out of my head
Rumbi Factory always felt more... sad or desolate than relaxing to me, but that might just be because my first experience with the track was going through the purple time rift that shares its name and THAT was very desolate and sad-feeling to me.
Also I find the theme for Subcon Forest to be very relaxing, and it's a little disappointing that it isn't in the video.
Still like the video, just my personal preferences coloring the comment.
