It is not just the music which is good. The words are also the loveliest poetry, speaking (with regret) about things that cannot be. The songtext starts with two lines of verse. At the end of the upper text, I expected to come across some marking on the score which would send me back to the lower line. But there isn't one. What am I missing?
You mixed up the octaves a bit. Fantines highest note in the song a C5. You've got it as C6. From measure 39 to the end you are a full octave too high. The first half is correct, it starts with Eb4.
I agree about the problems with octaves... the song would need an alto in the first part and a high soprano in the last. And even then all those high A and B would be a chore - not mentioning the final high high F
