I love the final design of the cloak, it reminds me of those padded jackets people wear.

Really cool to see your interpretation of my work! You took Gehenna and made her a full on comic super villain. It also gives me a new perspective on my own design principles, but I now know I should have sent more of the "completed" pieces, both of those were really just sketches, no shading whatsoever in the full color piece. Thanks for this, very interesting.

Always interesting seeing your take on another artist's character. In the end she seems to me almost like a mix of a superhero and maybe a sith? While in the original I got more Metal Gear vibes personally. I think designing her suit to look much more industrial and 'raw' with the skin suits anatomy while keeping the cloth bits flashy could have been interesting, a design like that would feel more metal gear to me if that was the intention of the original. Either way I think both look great, honestly makes me want to try my hand at it now.

Yeah those are the thoughts i had in mind while drawing this as well. That whole disctinction that i was talking about between a tactical/militaristic look and a more stylized look. Those kind of suits modeled after muscle fibers always remind me of MGS as well, probably because of MGS4. Maybe i should have just went that route instead.

The original looks like something out of dishonored and yours feels more starwars-esque. But I like the final product, flows well.

The design looked good as always. To me tho it looked like the character might be the same type but they serve different purposes. The original one looks to be more stelthy. Still recognizable she ever got spotted. The one you did is almost a beacon, someone the corporation want you to see, because she sends a very loud and clear message. She do not really bother with stealth. So they are the same thing but serves a slightly different pulpous, one is more stealth and the other more public.

I absolutely love the design, gives me Star wars Inquisitor vibes. But it seems a bit to royal or officer-like to still be an assassin

The final result looks like the classic Tatsunoko anime style, almost sentai like. I like both. Nice Job!

i watched this video at least 5 times trying to understand what i was looking at. There was something bothering me but I couldn't quite figure it out. I think there is a theme that you overlooked in your new design. The image is well drawn but loses the initial feel. It keeps reminding me of various Robin designs. when you had the X all i could think was red x from teen titans. If i'm reading the original design right it's just a body with the skin peeled away in certain locations. For instance the helmet in the back is round with a sharp under cut like a human skull, a bit at the base of that skull like atlas and the neck has small bumps like vertebrae. The mask has the missing nose as you said but also the black bits the mimic the space between the upper jaw and the mandible. There is clear attempt to bring focus to the neck muscles and the collar bone. Even the gold seems to show points of connection of the muscle fibers. summing up i think you need to lean back towards the anatomical structure.
I like how you redid the knees, I agree that the like blue had to go and the red portions needed to be a bit more vibrant. I think it would have been better with the darker (not black) mask colour. For the eyes instead of the oval lens look maybe a shape more akin to the eye sockets. The inner lining of the hood could be the same red as the muscle giving the feel that peeling off the hood is like peeling off skin. I also think your hood is too big. There is just something about the tight form fitting hood that matched everything else. And outside of the light blue of the inner lining i really like that the colour scheme. They are a bit muted and would do with some saturation but otherwise i like. I would like to see how the design would look with the red of the body following up the neck to just under the chin. I like the gold embellishments on the hips and forearms but not as enthused about the ones on the upper arm.
Out of all the masks you drew the first one you coloured is my favourite just because it looks like a deformed skull. All in all i think what you should be going for is a corpse of sorts that hunts you. I am very interested in what you think of my suggestions

I like it but I feel like it's pretty much it's own different character. You had the right idea with luminosity, saturation and hue contrasts, but some of those didn't quite make it into the final. The suit is basically 2-tone luminosity-wise. The grey and saturated red happen to be the same luminosity and the mask is the only part that's lighter. The contrast in the image comes really from the black shadows of your contrasty lighting, but the suit is basically one tone. To my eye the light grey looks a little overexposed, but then again I tend to like lower gamma in images than other people.
Still, I really like the almost royal look of the character. I like the cool color combo of the very high chromaticity red + the grey of the left side of the cape. I feel it could just use a well-placed darker luminosity area somewhere, preferably near the face mask, to create contrast and draw the eye to the mask.
