I absolutely love Dream cymbals. I have a 15 inch energy hi hats, 18 inch bliss crash ride, 20 inch bliss crash, 16 inch lion China, and my favorite cymbal of all time, the beast 24 inch energy ride. All Dream cymbals. Honestly my favorite cymbal company ever
Hey thank you, I appreciate that. I don't know if I'm a crazy chops guy. But It's always a work in progress I guess. Thank you for the compliment I truly appreciate it.
3:15 my good man, I did some riding. I will say I was pretty bell crazy on this. I've been playing on the Vintage Bliss Crash/Ride for a few years and there isn't much of a bell on that one. I think I was a bit bell deprived.
Can u ask if the overtones are in tune if that makes sense? The issue I have with so many rides is that the overtones are dissonant and I’m considering buying this
Honestly that is what I struggle with too. That's why I generally go for a really dry ride. This was intended to be a rock ride for me. But honestly I think I'm too trained in dry jazz rides and I ended up getting something else. It didn't fit me but I also know that every cymbal is a little different so if you get a chance to try one out that would be better than buying blind.
I do have the lion china and a pang china, the lion for lack of a better term is very much like the iconic wuhan china. Very quick attack, dies out right away. The Pang gives more sound, and holds out a little longer. I've used the pang for stacks as well. I might have to do a cymbal tour haha show each one off. As far as metal, sound wise they would sound really good for metal. I use the paper thin bliss, but the regular bliss is a little thicker. I don't have a tone of experience with thicker cymbals. If you need something thicker I'd check the contact series or their Dark Matter series. They are a lot heavier duty. What do you play on?
Dude you should ! I'm thinking about getting the pang and I'll definitely try a stack ! Right now I just have sabian aa crashes and a zildjian k custom special dry light ride , but I just ordered some dream bliss paperthins and I'm excited af
@@danielveness1943 I love the paper thins, they have a brighter sound but they age over time. I am loving them, I also have an AAX and Freq Crash from sabian. I like those but I just have fallen in love with the dream series stuff. The PANG is AWESOME! I love it, I have the 16" and the 10" and use them for different combinations.
Casey Doremus definitely enjoy playing thinner cymbals as well. I have 14” wuhan hats that ive been playing for a couple months. I used to play hcs hats that came with my set. Lately ive been looking into dream cymbals and i really like them 🙏
@@miguelleal8250 for the price you can't beat it. I spent a fraction of what people are spending on other brands and I have all the cymbals I could possibly need. It awesom

@@caseydoremus5324 also, I meant 15 inch Hi hats, not 15 inch rides lol 😂
You should do a cymbal tour video soon
I should. I have way to many. Which would be fun!

A ride demo, where you didn’t ride the cymbal once....

Cheers man, maybe next time I’ll watch the whole video before running my mouth
@@jordanowens3760 You're good, I try to keep it short but I am a bit of a talker. Trying to learn to cut back on the extra stuff and get to the point.
@@jordanowens3760 did you watch the video? 😂

do you think the bliss crashes would be alright for metal? and do you have a dream china?

15" Dark Matter Energy from Dream... I love em
Casey Doremus thank you, they sound great!
