This is the most fun I’ve had editing a video in a long time and I hope everyone has just as much fun watching all the fun stuff I made for the video!! hehe 🐖 🐖
I uased to casually play Pokemon/other TCGs a few years ago and only recently started getting back into them a bit (thanks 151), and have seen these 'aerial-shot in-person game' videos before. However, I always found them extremely difficult to tell what was happening. Your editing not only made it more visually fun/interesting, but a lot easier to understand what was happening (eg. giving me time to read the abilities, zooming in on card descriptions, etc). The narration from Andrew and Jesse helped immensely with this, as well. Thanks to all of you!
That's why I love Hisuian Zoroark so much. It's such a coinflip deck sometimes though. Lol. Sometimes you have to discard three of your double turbo or else just brick for 5 turns
The editing and extra animations with “MAKE IT RAINNNNN” is just so great. This is why your content is great. Good game play, competitive stuff, AND just you all having fun! Thank you for always making great productions.
I watched this on the VOD channel, and I just have to say, thank you. Your tabletop content is phenomenal, and hypes up new cards so well. I’m so excited for this set, and all the broken decks you’ll cook up!
"I've gotta channel my inner Gardy, channel my inner Gardy player, channel my Tord, I find this every time, I find Battle VIP Pass here Everytime bro" 😂😂 That gave me the best laugh I've ever had watching a TCG video
This was an awesome video. the banter between Jesse and Andrew was great, the editing was top notch, and the string cheese boi really impressed! Thanks guys!
Gholdengo is my favorite Pokémon from this generation and I am so excited that it got such a cool card out of the gate. Beyond excited to put that deck together when the new set drops. You and Jesse are always so much fun to watch.
I think if you use Iron Hands in a Miraidon deck, it should be your late game attacker/sweeper to get the last 2-3 prize cards against any other deck apart from lost box. Against lost box it'll easily be the main attacker turning the only advantage it has (1 prizer) into an advantage due to them all having low hp
Youre right but first turn if you have a shot you need to take it it slows your opponent a lot and gives you a head start, just dont waste everything on him
Going 2nd looks to be actually not detrimental anymore. Lots of going 2nd options with the new TMs. As we lean away from Vstar/Vmax evolving from two prize basics into stage 1s/2s evolving from single prizers, being knocked out early doesn't set you too far behind. Also Arven is trending towards being the best supporter in the next rotation, exacerbating the benefits of going 2nd.
I have to say I was hoping gholdengo had potential and you have really showed me what it can truly do! Also loving the new graphics with the flaaffy and the damage after attacks!
Not only the best new gen pokemon in a long time but my favorite as well. So glad you're showing off the pimp daddy as I cannot WAIT to get my hands on the SIR next month when Paradox Rift comes out
The new TM cards would be really cool with jumpluff from evolving skies being able to attack twice each turn. Just think off all the setup/ spread damage and de-evolving you could do
You have spoiled me 😅😂 Your table top videos are so well done that whenever I see someone elses table top content my mind goes "huh, this isn't as entertaining as Tricky Gyms videos". 🙈😁 THANKS FOR CREATING SO MUCH WONDERFUL CONTENT! 💐💕🙌🏻
I'm currently focused on Disney Lorcana, but this card may have single-handedly made me want to get back into competitive Pokemon hahaha Such an entertaining video 👏
Making it rain energy cards is exactly how I envisioned using this attack when I firstvsaw the card spoiled. Lol Great minds think alike. This is going to be suck a fun and silly deck to play against the kids in the shop with.
really appreciate that you do Make It Rain by literally making it rain energy from your hand. imo that's the only way Gholdengo ex should be played, you can only discard the energy in that way lmao
1 energy cost attack, ability that's strong and stackable even on the bench, tools and trainers that support the win-con well and a potentially infinite damage ceiling. What is that.
Since TM. EVO is a tool card do we think it would go very well into Charizard Ex decks? When using Arven instead of getting a candy you could get another item card. Just my thoughts on it lol
I'll be straight up, was not expecting Andrew to pronounce gholdengo's name right after hearing everyone in the pokemon community pronounce it as "Golden-Go" for almost a year now
Being able to use TM evolution if you go second. If you can Battle VIP a gimmighoul and Bidoof then TM them into Gholdengo and bibarel turn one…oof. Good stuff
Oh man I can’t wait for this deck. Is there any other cards that it would work well with than bibarell? It doesn’t really need to accelerate energy to Pokémon, but is there a Pokémon that lets you get metal energy into your hand?
There's still Eldegoss that lets you grab 2 basic energy from the deck while in play. It's pretty low HP and very snipeable, but may work especially with the new Jirachi coming out to help protect it a bit. Idk, didn't seem like Andrew had any problems getting energy in hand especially with Earthen vessel available lol
at first I thought that there are some pokemon with the same attack like gholdengo, not to mention some of them are even 1 prize cards, then why choose gholdengo. Then I realise it's thank to it's drawing ability that we can get energy faster :3 the item that let we get 2 more energies is quite good too.
God, i didnt think about the tapu koko. Making Miraidon a toolbox deck makes a lot of sense actually. Love the gholdengo deck, though. That's a lot of cards I want too. Should have saved my money for paradox rift, honestly.
Good against miraidon, sure. Just because of that 260hp. Would like to see this against lostbox, zard or gardevoir. Hitting 250 won’t ko zards and garde. And those decks can easy hit 260 😊
garde damages itself and 350 shouldn’t be super difficult to hit with all the search + recovery. For lost box you have the new jirachi that can be played.
Gholdengo was the card I predicted to be the best in the set. Looked great against Miraidon, but wonder how it will fare against higher HP decks like charizard/pidgeot
Nice deck! Except, I really don't like Gholdengo's design... It looks like a goofy thug version of the Ficello cheese string character. Apparently, no effort was put into this Pokemon design. Pokemon number 1000 should've been a freakin' legendary beast! Way to screw it up.
This is the most fun I’ve had editing a video in a long time and I hope everyone has just as much fun watching all the fun stuff I made for the video!! hehe 🐖 🐖
Great job boss!

You absolutely slayed on this one, keep up the good work and hope you keep enjoying it also!
The editing was super engaging and entertaining
Having an attacker mixed in with a draw ability is always a fun card to play.
That's why I love Hisuian Zoroark so much. It's such a coinflip deck sometimes though. Lol. Sometimes you have to discard three of your double turbo or else just brick for 5 turns
not sure if giratina V counts with the sacrifice of the lost zone but I've definitely been liking that playstyle!
This might be the best TrickyGym tabletop video yet.
I agree!!!
“Make it Rain” makes it

Editor cooked. One of your best videos 10/10
That first turn for Andrew was really just him showing off lol
Going 2nd looks to be actually not detrimental anymore. Lots of going 2nd options with the new TMs. As we lean away from Vstar/Vmax evolving from two prize basics into stage 1s/2s evolving from single prizers, being knocked out early doesn't set you too far behind.

All basic Pokemon under 120 HP are now 2 prizes thanks to Iron Hands though.
@@DKong1026 but as shown in this video, that doesn't matter if you have an answer to iron hands the next turn.
Very entertaining video, as always ! I love seeing the 2 of you battle ! And those new sound and visual effects are sooo cool !
I can tell pig had a good time making this one LMAO
Yes LOL
bro was cooking
This is going to be my first paradox rift deck, I have been brainstorming lists since it’s reveal and am pumped!
I have to say I was hoping gholdengo had potential and you have really showed me what it can truly do! Also loving the new graphics with the flaaffy and the damage after attacks!
Fantastic post production on your videos bro, always happy to enjoy your matches 😊
Take a shot whenever the poster child of the newest expansion "knocks out any pokemon in the format"
Ive been having fun playing blowns in expanded "beta", time to make it rain in standard.
Do have a list posted somewhere for this build?
Not only the best new gen pokemon in a long time but my favorite as well. So glad you're showing off the pimp daddy as I cannot WAIT to get my hands on the SIR next month when Paradox Rift comes out
Lmao the make it rain shenanigans was goollldddddd.Goldengo is wild 🙏🏾👀👀👀👀👀👀
The new TM cards would be really cool with jumpluff from evolving skies being able to attack twice each turn. Just think off all the setup/ spread damage and de-evolving you could do
Wow, now that’s something I hadn’t thought of! You can use Reversal Energy with it, too.
😅 just break meta, cuz dark char ex will b sweatn on a jumpluff
Loved it! 😂 Best tabletop video so far
I love this kind of contents! Didn't thought of the TM usage to be so good.
The production value on this vid is insane thoooo
That editing is superb! Great Video
for tm evolution since it says search for "a pokemon" does that mean you can search for a stage 2 and evolve it like rare candy ?
why psychic over water energy?
just realized: fog crystal for dmg
gholdengo is straight up both an attacker and draw support, kinda crazy
I'm looking to make Gholdengo myself, do you play just 1 Tm evolution?
I'm currently focused on Disney Lorcana, but this card may have single-handedly made me want to get back into competitive Pokemon hahaha
Such an entertaining video 👏
What are the psychic energies for?
You can search them out with fog crystal, which also searches out gimmighoul. Then you can discard them to do extra damage with gholdengo
@@TrickyGymVery clever tech. I really like that idea.
Making it rain energy cards is exactly how I envisioned using this attack when I firstvsaw the card spoiled. Lol
Great minds think alike. This is going to be suck a fun and silly deck to play against the kids in the shop with.
Can't wait to see what else Tricky Gym comes up with
is that 10 energy? 8 and 2?
What's your Vessel count?
Just watched this deck on the vod, time to watch it again
With the awesome edits 😎
im looking forward to a new meta!
really appreciate that you do Make It Rain by literally making it rain energy from your hand. imo that's the only way Gholdengo ex should be played, you can only discard the energy in that way lmao
Attack and Draw in the same card. 😇
Always learn a lot from the content keep up the good work! And hope to run into you both at a regional this year!
1 energy cost attack, ability that's strong and stackable even on the bench, tools and trainers that support the win-con well and a potentially infinite damage ceiling. What is that.
No toxicitry ex? Hits 270 for 3?
Since TM. EVO is a tool card do we think it would go very well into Charizard Ex decks? When using Arven instead of getting a candy you could get another item card. Just my thoughts on it lol
It would help get pidgeot, but Charizard ex has to be played from the hand to use infernal reign.
No, because Charizard and Pidgeot don't evolve from Charmander and Pidgey. You can't just skip the stage 1 like you can with candy
@@ftb5786 Ah thanks
I'll be straight up, was not expecting Andrew to pronounce gholdengo's name right after hearing everyone in the pokemon community pronounce it as "Golden-Go" for almost a year now

Pokémon company looking at Gholdengo ex 🤡

Ok, you've convinced me. I need to build this deck.
I havnt played pokemon tcg but it looks fun. I like the gholdengo deck. How much do you think making this deck would cost?
Less than $100
@@TrickyGym I think I will end up getting it when it comes out. Thank you.
For real! Awesome editing @pigchefer !
thank you!!!!!
This deck seems insane. Ill defo be playing alolan vulpix to counter this deck when it comes out 😆
I was stoked for Roaring Moon EX but as I play more and more I enjoy playing Gholdengo a lot more than Roaring Moon.
This was so much fun to watch! Also really excited for the deck as well!
God, i didnt think about the tapu koko. Making Miraidon a toolbox deck makes a lot of sense actually.

I was really not excited about Gholdengo but this match is making me think otherwise. Can’t wait for Paradox Rift!
Same! Usually I feel like our big sets have a bunch of filler, but I feel like Paradox Rift is going to be a banger of a set.
OMG. This whole time I thought you needed to discard metal energies from *Gholdengo* and I thought, "So a weaker Dialga?".
I would say gholdengo ex is another Blacephalon
I’m already seeing the expanded potential with mt. Coronet
Can't wait to run this ex 😉
I get my gold and go
Ram this deck with a few changes at Portland regionals it was my first Regionals and I went 3-5

garde damages itself and 350 shouldn’t be super difficult to hit with all the search + recovery. For lost box you have the new jirachi that can be played.
What’s your list 💵🪙👑
The deck really brings in the gold!
I was surprised to hear it's pronounced Golden-go, then you think about it and say "Oh yeah, that makes sense" 😆
This looks seriously fun to play
Well, I will be brewing with that little guy in expanded quite a lot.
Zie schmell of it! Zie taste of it!
Love the tabletop content!
BTW why are y'all pronouncing it "Goal Dang-o" and not "Golden-go" ????? It's literally a Pokemon made out of gold lol.
Bro Pokémon are made up
I love goooold
Goldengo is the king👑
a better Blastoies ex :(
You’ll know why I’m here. List?
Check the description :)
Gholdengo was the card I predicted to be the best in the set. Looked great against Miraidon, but wonder how it will fare against higher HP decks like charizard/pidgeot
The deck should be fine against bigger HP mons, I think the biggest flaw will be against decks that can weave in single prize attackers
Nice deck! Except, I really don't like Gholdengo's design... It looks like a goofy thug version of the Ficello cheese string character. Apparently, no effort was put into this Pokemon design. Pokemon number 1000 should've been a freakin' legendary beast! Way to screw it up.
Im so sorry blastoise u been replaced by a draw power uncapped discard hitter
Gholdengo ex is another blacephalon
Don't throw your cards at him lol
I'm sorry but one energy one evolve n infinite discard. Its too easy n too broke
This deck seems broken holy shit
