I feel like Group Ironman was something people wanted, simply because they didn't have it. I understand it had a huge number of players begging for it, so I'm happy for it coming, but I strongly believe its going to be very sparsly enjoyed long term. There is another game that I play, that shortly after the game came out (5 years ago), and LTM came out that was only enjoyed by the highest level of player. But that was 5 years ago, it was the single most requested game mode ever from the following season until today. Not only did they finally bring it back, but they made it significantly more forgiving too. and people still hate it. Saying its too difficult. lol
I think really the main appeal of GIM for the casual player is watching the content creators create them and new series they may create I think it’s good for the content creators because it gives them a new game mode to stream/record for, and something that is also very entertaining, either by themselves or with friends who will overall help the content.
I think the Mining and Smithing update is just because Woodcutting and Fletching is later getting an update. Probably all about bringing Dungeoneering equipment out of Daemonheim. Maybe since we're getting the digsite soon it'll have something to do with the skilling updates. Perhaps Dungeoneering materials will be an important component to modify gear to fight the future threats. Runecrafting and Crafting later!? I'm not Ironman player. But what we learned from Runescape is when something is from OSRS they put their own spin on it. Should be mechanically different in many ways. Maybe you get some benefits from being in a group then being separate ironmen. Like Citedals but something unique.
Although this does open a ton of potential I certainly hope they keep the content flowing instead of just letting there be content droughts like earlier this year, Yeah it is nice to get a break but at the same time it would be nice to have some extra stuff to do when you get bored 😁
@@jasonvors1922 From this roadmap seems like it. They were just reevaluating how they were doing things it looks like. New owners, as mention past year or so has been meh for everyone. Everyone is always in an uproar lol. Getting Markos from OSRS to help RS3 out is great imo.
Wait ironmen can fight alongside other accounts without losing their loot? I've played an ironman for years and have never tried group content because I thought I couldn't
You think every skill should be 120?? I do not agree with that. Some skills are so basic even if there aas a rework to them I dont see them makin it good enough to add stuff to get to 104 mil xp in a skill for 120. For example Firemaking, Construction, Prayer, Divination…. Who wants to do those skills to 120 unless you going for the capes??

@@zeldapro18 Ingeed I was in shock seeing them grab someone from osrs to save the game was very unexpected
Maybe in 10 years ill be able to do these bosses...
I'd given up on RS3, and this roadmap made me hype as well. Will definitely resub for this.

I am very excited for this year.
Raids 2 - It could be good. Could be another Yakamura.
All in all, it all looks pretty good.

120 master max cape my friend, Being able to customize the particle trail without having to get a comp cape is amazing
Yes! That's awsome man.
idk feels like rs3 is too far away to try to be fixed with player input but thats my personal opinion
And the 30 rs3 players rejoiced
