At about 15:36 Jason tells Nicole that she can cruise some more or do whatever she wants. A few seconds later he says,ok, that's 80 MPH. OMG, gotta love it. Even though Nicole's knowledge and driving skills are phenomenal, her personality and enthusiasm keep me coming back for more and more of her video's. And I have to compliment her whole production crew for the super professional videos. I know that a quality 30 minute video like this is the result of a ton of woman/man hours of work. WOW! YES YES YES !
Unbelieveable what this vehicle is able to do. Almost nothing is more fascinanting as nice and good automotive engineering. The aera ist great too and the driving skill of Nicole. No fear, No doubt to get it, just perfect.

Nicloe, I am loving your videos! You know your onions and can drive properly. I've always liked desert race vehicles and now I want one of these. Can't afford the real thing, so it'll have to be scale RC, (started racing them around '85) but what the heck, it's all good fun!!!!!! 😁😁😁
The rock sections looked like one heck of a driving workout. I usually love the drone shots on videos like this, but the low camera shots thru the rocks were just amazing. Great job as always, Ms. Johnson.

And yes, she looks like a nerd with glasses but she is a very attractive nerd none the less! Nice video Nic, looking forward to the next one!
This is such a nice comment. I'm so glad you enjoyed watching and were moved by Jason's story..I found it inspiring as well!! Stay warm there in Minne-snowta! haha.
This was so. Much. Fun. Flying across the desert I think your eyes were wider than I've seen them in any of these videos. This is a serious machine and you're a serious driver. Total badassery.
Yep, it has a lot of power and capability. The last time I raced King of the Hammers in 2010, we were in the car 10 hrs and 47 minutes from start to the finish line, and I think I blinked 6 times. LOL It's about constantly scanning and reading the terrain, and picking a line. My car was never capable of the kind of speeds we could hit in Jason's, which is why I wore my glasses. I knew that terrain would be flying at me and I wanted to see it clearly! Thank you for watching!
Somehow, wearing glasses with a helmet and fire suit just can't make you look nerdy, no matter who it is. But with you, it just makes you look more intense and focused. Watching you drive through the course was a lot of fun and brought back memories of my youth running around dirt roads here in Michigan, from hard pack gravel in the south to sand trails in the north and the dunes on lake Michigan in the west. Watching your detour is fast becoming my favorite past time. You are becoming one of my top five channels to watch. Can't wait to see what you try out next!
Damn you can drive! Its NOT easy getting in someone elses car and going through rocks where you dont know the low points, the width, etc etc, not to mention the desert section. Well done! 👍
Thanks for this episode. I’ve always loved Ice Hockey (played as a kid) because of the level of skill required to play fast and use a puck at speeds of up to 100mph with a stick. ON ICE. This was my first glimpse into King of the Hammers (this type of racing) and I got the same feeling. Rock crawling is fun. Desert racing is fun. Combine both? YES!! Considering how I drive and beat up my poor old clunky CJ7 “dirt roading” and off roading I think this would easily have been my sport had it existed back in the day. Love it. Very cool. And BTW thanks for pulling the “real” out of people. Watching from the mountains outside of Los Angeles in So Cal.

All the way from Sweden. Awesome episode and I just love U4 racing. The hammers is by far the top event in motorsports in my book.

Another great one! Watching from Minneapolis!
Hello to you in Minneapolis! Glad you enjoyed watching..thank you!
Awesome! Great interview, great excitement from you. I wish people knew how much goes into these videos. Nice to see a longer video, very cool!!😎
Glad you enjoyed it! Yes, we do put a lot into it. There's travel, then a full day of shooting, and over 140 hours of post production work with editing, color grading, audio mixing, captions, writing descriptions and making the thumbnail image. So far it's all on our own dime with no sponsors. The longer episode is a risk, as we hope people will stay engaged. I appreciate that you watched and commented!
I am writing from Spain..... so impressed with that car and your driving ! Very few fast women in U4 racing...you should consider it, Nicole!
Thank you! 👍 That's very nice..I'm glad you enjoyed it! Hello to you there in Spain!
