You have been so missed in the beauty community 💖 I DO have a few ideas for videos...I actually thought I left this message last night but I think when I went to edit it for spelling mistakes I inadvertantly deleted it, lol. So here goes: 1) Things I know now that I wish I had known when I started my own small business/reselling 2) The Pros and cons of being self employed 3) The top ten things you learned while working at sephora ( about make up, application, skin care etc) 4) Since you have been on a social media diet for the past year I thought it might be fun to ask your followers to give you there top 3-5 beauty/skincare/womens lifestyle content creators.and add one product we bought due to being Introduced by that creator. So example : Emily Noel, Elf Putty concealer, Tarababyz, Guerlain metoritez, etc. 5) This is something I have asked several creators to consider doing a video about and so far I have had no takers, lol...I get SO confused about which skin care product goes on 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 17th, etc. I invest a lot in my skin care but I feel like I just dont have a good enough grasp on what does each thing ( just at a high level, not looking for an indepth science class, lol) I find because we buy so much of our skincare on line its not like what it used to be like when you bought an entire skin care line from one of the major brands like Clinique, lancome, Estee lauder etc, back then it was pretty straightforward they told you this is 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc, but with a mish mash of great products from many brands, most purchased on line, I just find this really confusing. You would not need to have all the products on hand as I know you have a more paired down collection right now, but you could just pull a pic off the web and say this product - ie. Glow watermelon tonic/serum, toner ...whatever it is, is 1st after cleansing ( i dont know if it supposed to be, but that is when I use it) I think that could be a really helpful video for so many people. 6) this is another idea to get engagement from your followers. Ask your followers to give you one or two suggestions of their most loved new product they have purchased in the last year, since you have not been away from social media for a while. I think this would be a fun interative video , you could then do a video using the feedback you get from YT and IG ( and all your other platforms) and then build am ULTA and Sephora wish list with us. I think that would be a lot of fun. Well I guess I really do - do my best thinking in the middle of the night because when I left this message the first time I had ten ideas, lol I am not sure where the other 4 got to, but maybe they will come back to me later. :)
Glad you're back! This was fun to see how you have your business set up! What an awesome space! I like ship with me videos, hauls and work with me, but ive always watched any video you've put out! So when you see space in any given bin, that's where you add new inventory? My 5000+ inventory system is numerical, but before setting that up, I'd thought about doing a system like yours, but it seemed more chaotic, atleast in my head. Lol. So I'm curious if you like it.
I use ziplock bags so I keep the bag after an item sells. Then I fill them back up with new inventory and put them away. It’s really simple. Works very well for me.
This video seems like a loop in time 🙂 Guess it was easier to set up because you already had figured out a system that works for your needs? And Emilia is a cutie 💜 I would love a more personal video about your girls, they must have grown so much since we last saw them. What are they doing now ( and maybe how do they cope), where have their interests and personalities developed to? I am really happy to see you back, as well as really sorry that your „jump into cold waters“ hasn’t worked out. But es your board says - the best is yet to come 🙂
