I'm so happy for RDF. The mob who were against it don't realise the long term implications. I'm trying to play wotlk now and there is no one in the LFG tool. no one. LFG chat is empty bar one person asking for groups. This should have been at release or at least the 2nd patch.
They should honestly just leave joyous journey active the rest of the expansion its make more people wanna play alot more especially getting up new alts and, everyone knows more characters more loot which means more gold!

RDF is the best feature added to any MMO in history. I'm ready to finally play Wrath as intended. Finally can farm some dungeons on mains and make Alts.
You know what's the best feature added to MMO? It's the ALT+F4 button. Why dont we all just ALT+F4 if we want these step by step little miniscule "skip to end" button until we get retail level of disaster?
@col.hanslanda2013 yup true. I was never for rdf. World feels more full when you see players traveling around and summoning teammates at the stones at least. Now the world will feel a lot more empty. Ppl will now just sit in Dal even more than they already do once RDF is added and just get ported around instantly. This will hurt wpvp too with everyone just porting to and fro and back to Dal safely. I'm on Grobbulus, so yes, we have tons of wpvp right now.
I get the feeling that with THAT high of a cost, they may throw a scourgestone on every boss, not just the end boss. I get the feeling that with RDF and it being a mechanic for catch-up, alts and rerolls, Bliz would want to limit the skip runs. This seems like a way to do that. At least in the first few weeks.
I mean he did say not to pay attention to the numbers, because it was the same for Beta dungeons last PTR, but I agree with you. I would say that 15-25 badges for a weapon or trinket is a good range. For example, my guild killed Vezax on 10-man a dozen times, but only ever saw Aesuga once, despite 5 people wanting it. Then once Betas came out, there were 4-5 weapons in TOGC10 that were as good or better, so none of us actually ground out the beta badges, as that was a much bigger time investment than doing TOGC in 20 minutes every Tuesday. But almost everyone who could got the trinkets via badges (cries in caster DPS). And I know that all of our casters will be smashing gammas week 1 to replace Illustrations and Dying Curses with Reigns

I thought we would be able to buy it for sideral essence or the new gamma reward, like Flare, but they don't seem to talk about any of it. Did ulduar for almost 4 months and never saw it drop, I hoped they would put it on sideral shop, or the new shop, but it don't seem like it.

They are saving account wide achievements for cata, then they will sell a way to transfer your character and it’s achievements to retail and make mega bucks from everyone who wants scarab lord on their retail acc.
So many good changes. They should line up joyous journeys with RDF though, nobody is going to want to level normally anymore with the announcement of RDF, even with JJ.
5:33 Couldn't agree with your opinion more... and I'll take it a step further to point out how gimmicky (and legitimately unfun) what they added to ToC heroic is... cc effects, on top of cc effects, that can trigger cc effects, in boss fights with mandatory CC effects... {banana, slow trap, 2nd boss: stun-lock, or fear}... probably earned them a few thousand GM tickets!
Hello. Could anyone answer ,Will lfg tool work for raids or only for dungeons? I would love to play wotlk but cant pug all day long tbh. Also cant wait for pvp lfg tool also cross realm.
look for normal heroic 5 man dungeons, do those for a while until you get some okay gear from those dungeons and use the badges to buy some gear until you can get into some titan rune beta dungeons, they're pretty easy and can easily carry new people if people in the group are geared. Do VOA 10/25 any time you can, and do onyxia pugs.
It's going to be insane because they are releasing new scripts and hacks for arena or is it because lots of new swipers will join gdkps? Or maybe there's going to be a single pvp server finally?
IT'S ABOUT TIME! Now I can enjoy the game like it was meant to be with random dungeon finder would have been playing this whole time but glad it's back nonetheless.
I mean hes not wrong.. dbw to feral is goated... they will blast with it.. ofc everyone will give it to UH because they've carried for so long now but the throughput has proven itself on Pservs...
UH and armor pen is useless. Frostdk, feral, fury warriors, maybe rogues will drool over the armor pen. Unholy is going to slap in the first few weeks but once classes get a little bit of gear, they will fly past unholy. There is works of different unholy builds and specs being tested to help them in icc but most of them are pretty wildly ambutious. Unholy has been doing near ICC levels of damage for a good portion of the expansion but their reign at the top will be short lived once p4 drops. They wont be bad. Just not running laps around people anymore.
LFD tool is going to reqyire way lower GS than the average pug groups and I love it. Mentally handicapped people expecting 5k gs for people to join their dumbass dungeon group is getting tiring.
Joyous Journeys should be permanent, this should've been in 1 month after Naxx. I've come to realize dungeon finder simply makes the game better in every way.
Has there been better raids than ICC in the future expansions? I'd say not really (No idea about Shadowlands & DF tbh). There has been great raids for sure but I'd not call any of them better than ICC. Personal opinion of course.
I was hoping that they added the Ulduar 25HM loot aswell as the togc normal loot, I play on Gehennas EU (largest EU realm) and I can barely find groups to ulduar 25 hm now.. so imagine in phase 4, literally no one will run it. I understand that those items have the ilvl as loot from ICC10 normal, but still.. people will actually do ICC10, no one will do Uld25hm.
Yea same tbh, Comet's is still close to near bis for some classes even in ICC and it would be awesome to be able to get it from a vendor even if its like maybe 50 essence or what ever for it.

I am genuinely shocked that players that have been playing since 2019 on classic don't have all the classes that they want to play at max lvl or atleast pretty high leveled by now to where they are so hypedabout RFD to lvl alts😮
I've been playing pretty casually since 2019, I'm only able to play a couple hours a night, so I've only gotten one alt to max level, which was a dk. I switch back and forth between wotlk and era and I also take breaks from the game sometimes. So yea having rdf will be nice for those of us who are more casual.
Lol don't assume anything, cause you'll always be wrong. I have 1 lb 80 toon, my main and a 73 alt. Joyous and rdf will do wonders for me even still cause you know had to live life.
So many low level dungeons are spread too far across the world that it makes it very difficult to get groups together for them. Especially when you're at a level where you don't have a mount or only have the 60% move speed mounts.
yeah that mount is p2w.... and i hate it.... i hate blizz for implementing such monetization when they clearly stated, that they would never do it in classic.... such hypocrits
titan rune dungeons are so boring.. they just keep increasing the amount of dungeons needed per piece of gear and lowering the quality of the gear available for this "catch up" mechanic. It's literally backwards design for it's purpose. Making players spend more time running the same boring dungeons over and over. This time for non "hard mode" versions at twice the cost!!

11 weeks of ToC raiding and Death’s Verdict has still not dropped once for my guild. Getting normal version will be nice but still not the same😢

Warrior tank in icc phase is the worst tank out of all and often not picked at all
