I could see it being good in lane but that doesn't sound great once you leave lane. His only ap scaling is on e and ult, and e doesn't have all that much scaling :(

I can tell you it's good at least up until plat, I haven't tried for diamond yet...but his shield scales infinitely with demonic embrace.
