i love seeing unique strategies get a lot of success. it just gives the game more depth.

The amount of pinging in Korea SoloQ is just insane. There’s more pings in one game of Korean SoloQ than like 10 of my SoloQ games(I’m d4 lol)
Midbeast is impressive to me as a content creator because he has the silliest little quotes and can make random player vod reviews so fun. I love it.
Makes sense cause the evenshroud item is basically press the attack but with cc and thresh is the king of cc supports same goes with nautilus both are flexible and can be played toplane and be extremely effective at either role

Him and baus both have sleeper good mechanics and amazing macro
You mention Galio a lot, but the Milio support pick is also great into their comp imo. Milio can cancel Renata ult and adds a lot of tenacity on top of it, which is good vs Thresh as well. To add, I don't feel Thresh did a lot for him this game. Some of his lanterns were very good, but so many of his hooks just weren't there especially in fights when they needed to be. I think they won not necessarily because of the pick but just because his team was very strong in general. That Renata-Aphelios with Wukong on top if it was just gross.
I accidentally locked in Thresh top a while back without any of this knowledge. I main Thresh and I absolutely destroyed a Sion. Honestly, I agree 100% with you, He really didn't do anything. There was many times where I would of done things way different, then again he's going glacial augment and he's not tanky at all so he can't frontline as much as he would like, Sadly I think this takes away from what Thresh is really capable of, which is being in the front tanking and making sure everyone is CCed for days. Also, Since it's so high elo, it's like he can get away with being a decent support, because his team is also extremely understanding of the game.

@@tonyvillalobos7940 no he actually did do a lot, could he have done more in overall team fights yes. But he excelled in the early mid game, he put his ADC so far ahead which was win condition and set their jungle so far behind

Evenshroud is a really great item on Thresh. I build it into a lot of matchups as support Thresh.

15:19 midbeast is 100% right. If you wanna climb you gotta play. Like I remember when I finally did climb, I put in an insane amount of time into league. I put much less time in than most people, but I also spent a lot of money on coaching and time watching my replays and watching streamers to improve not watching just for entertainment. The season I climbed the most I played like 300 games in ranked(Silver2 to D4). Now I play just enough to hang out around P2-D3 lol and honestly I don’t really feel like I deserve it sometimes with how I play. I feel like more of a P3-P4 player than anything.
I totally disagree, if you wanna climb, you play few high quality games with the goal to learn/improve and then review/reflect on those games. Playing lots of low quality games does nothing, except inflate mmr and build bad/lazy habits.

@@Senorpoontang I climb really well with 1-4 games a day. If I have a bad first game. I just quit for the day. Only got me to high plat, though, but I never really had diamond as a goal, because I thought it would require too much.

@@Senorpoontang 2-3 games a day is far more than enough to climb. It's not about the LP it's about your skill, if you play 2-3 games and have a 66% wr u will climb very efficiently

I've played Thresh top over 1k games around low to high diamond elo NA. It's not the best thing ever but it is viable and you can carry 5v5's with it though I like going a different style than ady does. Cool guy and it's great to see him prove this works at any elo anywhere

glacial seems kinda troll imo since the damage reduction doesn't apply to you, so it's just an AoE small slow vs Aftershock for ex which gives you extra AoE damage and survivability (or even Grasp for trades and just spamming the laning phase), especially useful in toplane were you're most of the time 1v1

Midbeast, Can we also add a new person or otp to watch? For example a K'sante player (There is one in KR Masters that is a OTP), a fiora thats ranked high somewhere, or some other flashy looking champ we don't see often... I don't know if they fit in with what you want to upload, but a new person/otp would be cool.

this may only work if there's a hyper carry champ on the team
it's probably because top has alot of engaging tanks right now, and having extra peel for ur team endgame and the fact that ur enemy top laner is a tank the gold on the tank doesn't bring that much value anyway. So if you can help your bot lane to win to deal with it's health and defense stats while you peel you can easily carry games or help your team to carry the game. However i'm not sure how this could work for your low elo games, other than making your enemy bot/jungle tilt cuzz they can't play the game. kekw.

I think its less about the champion and more about game knowledge. He played straight to the champion's strenghts, roaming and getting his carries as fed as possible so they could win mid game fights, despite the enemy top lane having a gold lead. He understands his win condition, which is why he stayed bot lane for so long until it finally worked. Plus, Kasante isn't a strong push champion. I don't think this strategy would have been as effective vs a Sion, for example.
