As a twelve year old that likes Sephora, there are people like this in my school, and it doesn’t make sense to me. I love my sister. You should never take your siblings, or anyone for that matter, for granted, because you never know how much you have until you lose it.

The only inaccuracy here was when she said she wanted to be a doctor. These sephora kids only want to be influencers. They have no desire to ever get real jobs. The rest was spot on though.

Influencing can make you money, but it is not a "real" job in the sense that you don't do anything to keep the world functioning. Also, the odds of every single Sephora kid becoming a rich and famous influencer are slim to none.

Honestly it’s a great habit to start taking care of your skin bc acne and other conditions can be very very painful and could make people lose self confidence. Yes i agree that drunk elephant, glow recipe, (etc etc) aren’t great for people that young but please, just leave them alone and stop making fun of them for at least trying to take care of themselves ❤
I sadly live in this generation of kids and it is definitely almost exactly how you describe it to be. I’m glad I grew up right compared to these kids and litterly only own a random makup kit from Claire’s. I don’t even wear it , it just sits on my counter 😂
at 12 i'll admit i had a lot of makeup but i definitely didn't wear it daily. mascara? got my first one i think when i was 14. i also like never went to sephora or ulta; everything was from target or stuff my mom didn't want. what i remember most was a target eyeshadow palette that i ADORED, neon pink lip gloss, too many lip things for my own good, and blush. now at 14 i have MUCH more, but even now my daily look is literally just mascara and highlighter, and when I'm not feeling lazy, countour, blush, and eyeshadow. I guess when i was 11/12 the point of makeup was to stand out, but now it's to fit in.
