Another important tip :
Watch kill cam. Seriously, it helps me a lot on figuring my tank weakness so I can avoid showing it and also figuring how to kill the same tank. If you can't confidently penetrate an enemy tank, shoot it in the barrel, then transmission if possible but go for tracks if not (optional), then go around and shoot them.
Yeah like Russian t34 1942's side armor is so weak that if you sneeze, it goes kaboom.

When I’m in a tank fight I like to disable the enemy tanks barrel if I’m in a weaker tank then proceed to vaporize them

Another tip to penetrate tank
If enemy tank have THICK armor
You should shoot machine gun position
Some tank ( most of tank in wtm) can penetrated by shoot at middle of mg port
Less tank ( kv1 )can penetrated by shoot at edge of mg port
Oh i forgor that you can shoot in neck of tank ( between hull and turret )
Neck of tank can be visible and penetratable in some tank like t34 m26 pershing

I actually did the fuel exploded and it was ez cuz i know tank modules very well and also look at the xray cam when u shoot a tank cuz it can give u an idea where to shoot nexy

I use KV-2 but I don't understand why every time I face another KV-2 He kills me with one shot hitting the barrel, but if I shoot him in the barrel the bullet rebounds, or when he doesn't kill me with 1 shot, It recharges very quickly (it should take 33 seconds) but it takes a maximum of 7 seconds to reload.

Ammo rack kill you instantly, so it is better to armed with half or less of the ammo stowage available except for AA vehicle....

A Color Blinds Worst Nightmare. the Green And Yellow.
The grind is painfull, from level 3 to 4 it starts to be hell. You need to play so much just to get to half campaign level and you can't do that in a day.

No need to use armor pen indicator straight buy kv-2 because it can pen the non pen area

Heatfs does penetrate, but it's like a laser piercing through the armor and not the actual shell getting inside and exploding
You need To be extremely accurate since it's a chemical round,or just take out the crew each shot to knock it out

@HiraethWTM I'm using the best penning shell they give me. Tanks are 1 shotting me every single game. Sometimes I know they don't even have time to aim. I just shot a tank 10 times everywhere and none killed him. He finally ended up killing my tank. And I shot him 3 times before he shot me once. So discouraging. It was the same tank I have.
having the highest penetration ingame doesn't guarantee you 100% kill chance, maybe you are using apcr ? It's a dogshiy

I suffered not pen even the reticle is green or bounce
The enemy you were aiming at probably is moving or you are moving that the shell wasn't dead accurate making the shell hit what would be red parts

followed your advice. but im still quitting the game. it does not make sense. it takes 18+ GREEN PEN shots... mind you, those are eighteen GREEN PENETRATION shots to be able to kill an enemy tank. the game initially showers you with free stuff and 1-shot 1-kill games, but when you're at Level 3, you'll see AI killing you from unconventional distance and kamikazeeing you just to kill you. AI will focus on real people players like me, even if there were 3 other friendly bots in front of me. the game has awesome graphics and mechanics, but it's just brutal
You value the quantity of penetration too much, bruh. It only takes on quality aim penetration to kill a tank 🙄

I hate how im just a beginner and already getting matched up with level 25 mfers when i barely know jackshit about the game, I hit an enemy tank multiple times even in the "Weak spots" and it barely does a critical hit then i get fuckin One shot by another player 500 meters on top of a rock I don't even know you can get up to. Fuckin stupid, don't play this game if you wanna keep your sanity intact.

This game is pure RNG. Doesn't matter where i shoot, it doesn't penetrate. It look like i have to pay $50+ to get my tanks to one shot kill. I'm about to quit this damn game. Also angle doesn't work in mobile just like it does in pc. Small tanks killing heavy tanks, is this a joke to you Gaijin?

I’m using this British platoon rn and theres a tank with 300+ pen but shit armor and guess what? I get one shot EVERY time someone shoots at me and when I use a different tank and shoot the same tank I was using it didn’t even make a dent💀
Also it’s literally impossible for me to kill German heavy tanks even with 300+ pen
