  • Wednesday September 16 2020 at 17.44. The 13.39 Newcastle to Bristol Temple Meads (18.35) train. This crossing was filmed in 2012 and uploaded as Swindon Road LC for some reason. That video shows the barriers being lowered when no train was coming. The crossing operator responsible wasn’t too pleased that his error was highlighted and added a comment which wasn’t exactly full of admiration for my channel. In his best interests I deleted it. The village across the valley is Bishops Cleeve. The zoom on that camera is crazy. In 2017 a lorry broke a barrier here. The house, 'Crossing Cottage’ became ‘Old Crossing Cottage’ in 2010. There are parts of the country where crossing keepers houses were very basic, but this is not one of them.

Good video. I've filmed there a few times, it's a nice quiet place to be!

Your second camera has an amazing zoom! Nice rural and remote location there too - looks nice round there 👍

    That’s Swindon Road, not Brockhampton!

But the road is actually called Brockhampton Lane and its in Brockhampton.

@@SteveDD1 Yea I'd agree with you there! Swindon Road about a mile away from here!
