I can't believe they left that end part of the wall 'open' like that! Were the course builders blind, or just stupid? That could have ended so much more badly...
@tomwebb10 well it all depends on how sharp the stairs are, how steep, and how long they are. Also depends on your bike's suspension. But you say you bounce, a good tip is to remember that you and your bike are two different things, not one. Or in other words, lets your bike move up and down, but keep your body in the same position. Just bend and unbend ur knees accordingly tot the bumps on the stairs :DD
1st_ He was rude with the people helping him. I know that after having a accident and loosing a race our sense of humor is not that good but when someone offers their hand we should say "thank you" and not "fuck off"!! 2nd_ There is a safety-case or a bunch of hay missing on that corner (Red Bull responsibility), it could have been much worse 3rd_ yep...Lisbon has that kind of stone-pavement that is very slippery, imagine that in a city with so many hills... looks like ice skating in rainy days :) 4th_ Portugal has got excellent conditions (geographic and weather)for downhill practice and it could be a low-cost destination to who likes extreme sports. Surf and all beach sports, horse ridding, kayak, sky-jump...just search and you will see a lot of offers Welcome to Portugal
"he has 2 kids a wife" and he wont be having any more after this

"Calçada" is the name of the pavement and when it's wet it's very slipery...

no if he had broken a bone or the spine and someone tries to help him it would be very bad.... so no one has to help him to stand up
looks like hes not going to have more than 2 kids
but that is the good thing about this race... small spaces and high speed... you need to have techniche..
