I mean, I know it looks impressive that she is controlling/playing a lot of stuff but she should really let some people help. I think she means that she controls a lot of the creative process regarding her music, recording multiple instruments and mixing stuff, but that's not really feasible live. Like, if she weren't running around so much she could probably sing the higher notes that she instead left to sampling. But to be honest, I get why she does it, music is a very personal thing and when you're the person painstakingly composing and recording each instrument you're gonna feel close to each track and it's not easy giving that away.

Idk why this set, and especially this performance, isn't shared around other platforms at all. Its such a pure raw authentic presentation of the few types of genius artists we have of this era. Grimes had it all, an engineer of sound, a genius who manipulates soundwaves to her own accord. Maybe back then as i vividly still remember, she wasn't as praised as she would've been now (stan twitter would thrive at old Grimes, she'd be considered a queer icon, a rock icon, an alternative core queen lol) but what she donated to music, even until now, is outstandingly beautiful.
I genuinely can't tell how much of this is from anything, but I love this and I'd have gone utterly crazy if I were in the crowd. And her background singer is AMAZING!
