Just curious, what would that exact house cost in any of the cities in the US?........ I bet you in most, it would cost you even more. So what makes the evaluation of such a house have to be lower than $600,000 simply because it is somewhere in Africa? After all it is just a house in every city it will be. It is an appreciating property but it does not contribute on the productivity index of wherever it is. By Elephant in the room, I am sure you meant it's cost. Brother, don't fall for the depreciation tactic of our currencies by the West. Gold in Africa is worth the same as Gold anywhere else in the world. And Africa has the most gold.

Three things designed soo poorly for that kind of a house. And that’s having the dining area open ended to the living room. Was it designed by a moslem since it looks like a mosque? There should have been a detachment between the two. Meaning the kitchen and the dining area should have been designed independent of the living room.
    2) why the hell should I have to walk 5-6m from the master bedroom to the shower??
    3) the two walk-in opposite closets that I assume a supposed to serve the master bedroom are way toooo small. Two people can’t stand in at the same and dress up without squeezing themselves.
Now for $600k hell nooo, that house ain’t got nothing to be priced for that much. And incase someone is wondering how much that is in Uganda, that’s probably 2,292,171,000/= and you know what, it’s still a loooot of money.
For the fair market value, that house shouldn’t be costing anything above $240,000 in Uganda and that’s around 916,868,400/= give or take!
It’s in a compacted neighborhood, with none to less privacy for outdoor activities. And even thou there’s social amenities near by or within the very estate, those ain’t private hence they don’t have to be anything used to consolidate for the lack of enough space for outdoor activities.

  • @billymusoke705
    @billymusoke705 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

I applaud you on the quality of the video however, you could do an overhaul of the entire script; "very very nice" "very very good" " is just lazy writing, and also, consider a better dress code especially if you're showcasing such premium property (take your cameraman for example). Secondly, the title of the video says "futuristic smart home" but there is nothing in this house that describes that. Almost everything is as basic as houses built in the late 90s and early 2000s. For over a billion shillings, this is a rip-off.

    1. Don't point out the obvious, instead highlight rare features in the project.
    2. Point out what you don't like as well and ask our opinion on the same.
    3. Educate yourself on basics of architecture and the built environment so you can use similar lingo to communicate the key concept behind any project.

    Well done getting inside, finally💪🏾💪🏾👏🏾
    What I love:
The roof top makes up for the small plot. I stayed at Ham’s apartments before, loved the ideal but disappointed by the build quality. This property shows his team is much better now, very high end finishes all around.
The two-kitchens idea is great especially when you have guests
    What I wish for:
I would have loved to hear more explanation of what makes the home SMART
The security must be super tight in kawuku , coz that glass door don’t look secure enough. It gives shopping mall vibes
Need to hear more architectural language beyond ‘big windows’ and a focus on the space and feel of the house, other than the furniture coz we all have different taste.
Overall, a fantastic job well done. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Loved the presentation. Well done. Good to see this standard of Real Estate in Uganda. Uganda is an exceptionally beautiful country that, with the right investment in infrastructure, could easily be Real Estate Mecca. This home is exquisite. The workmanship is excellent. My favourite feature was the lake views from the balcony and that massive rooftop. Very beautiful. The only down side is the size of the backyard. A bit too tight. But an exceptional property regardless.

You wanted comments. So I will give according to what I see if I want a house or home. It's a nice house. It has good and lacking sides of it. GOOD SIDE: 1. I like that it's near the lake. 2. Good amenities like enough kitchen cabinet, good toilet and sinks. DOWN SIDE: 1.That blinking light is so annoying. In the long run it will give you headache 3. Very small compound. 4. No back yard. 5. In a smart house one is able to tell Google or Alexa for example to turn on the light in whichever room. Voice control. Be able to turn on machines and off even when you are away. That is a smart house. I did not see it here.

Ahh man what is this spreading throughout the world ,it as to be,dreary boring neutral colours, also minimalist furniture, that there's no life of a homely home, its spreading through the whole of society's,pale blue, grey white cream black, its absolutely awful, its is as though we are starting to be frightened scared afraid, to live within pastel colours shades, warm nice reds orange, pink yellow, different shades of vibrant colours etc,and awful dullness" they all effect our moods and wellbeing, etc I feel the society we are all starting to live in, is a cloud of threat and pressure, to conform, or else ,

Beautiful home the interior designer / stage manager should add some antiques ,art work and different types of furniturw it got so monotonous with the blues and yellows and Versace mats .when everything is super modern the house ends up lacking character otherwise we'll done

@@ugconnect are you also able to visit estates like the ones of harm which are cheaper like 100,000, 80,000, 90,000 to 200,000 coz ezo eza harm are not 4 common people they are meant 4 big company owners. They look great but I think he will struggle with finding market considering that politics and security is not yet a guarantee in Uganda 600,000$ or £ or € is a lot of money to spend on such a property in a country like Uganda for now its too much. The property is good and the location but other factors nooo

Greens scapes! Bro L , the long counter in the kitchen is called a ‘Island’ in Amerikkka! The should hive u a commission for the show n tell ! The only thing I would change is the furniture, Amerikkka being what it is , we have beautiful here!
