Thank you :-) I use all sizes of brushes, but for the really small details on this painting I use up to 3/0 brushes - they literally have 20-30 hairs but they work excellent when it comes to paint small details like eye lashes.

Hello Tobias, Hope your well & being safe. I was just wondering if you ever used oil pastels and oil paints together? I have worked oil pastels on canvas and gotten some really good results. Just wondering if I could maybe mix the two? James

Hi James, I`m fine, thanks :-) Hope you`re well too? I have never ever used oil pastels. I try to get along with my Polychromos, bought a set last year but I still tend to go back to the oils ALL THE TIME...like an addiction ;-)))) I`m not sure if you can mix pastels and oils...perhaps you try it on a little leftover painting surface and wait a couple of weeks? Better do this before you invest a lot of time into a new painting only then realizing that pastels and oils don`t do well in the same place ;-)
