The food looked so good. I honestly would love a vacation with not a lot of people around and bustling activity. I know it was probably disappointing for a lot of locations to be closed, though. I'm glad you managed to have a good time and enjoy yourselves. Sometimes a quiet vacation is the best kind.

My husband and I did a road trip through the West for our honeymoon over the summer and stayed in Vail for a night. As we were driving to our hotel, a MOUNTAIN LION ran out in front of our car chasing a deer! Thankfully we had enough time to stop, but that was WAY too close of a viewing of a creature for our taste. LOL! Looooove Colorado. So beautiful!
I love the restaurants and I too like eating my way through my vacations. New Orleans, San Antonia have been two of the best ones. Love people who can "roll with the punches". Sometimes those are the best of trips.

I love this video!! I grew up in the mountain towns of Colorado!! The ski villages like Vail, Beavercreek, Aspen, and Breckenridge are amazing!! You have to go back in Winter to get the snow experience! Whenever we are up in Breckinridge, there are elk just walking around town!! And around Christmas- everything is lit up and breathtaking 💕

The last time I was in Denver, we made a trip to Colorado Springs and that was an amazing place too. I was literally standing in the middle of the road taking pictures. ☺️ But the entrance to Seven Falls just took my breath away. And the Falls were beautiful and they had different colored lights shining on them at night. 😍
So if you ever get back to Denver, try checking out Colorado Springs and Seven Falls. I think you'll love it! 💕

Welcome to Colorado! Sorry we didn't have any snow for you guys. If you come back you should check out Estes Park and you will definitely see some Elk. And Rocky Mountain National Park is awesome as well. I was born and raised in Colorado and I love it here.

You must do Vail in the late Fall if you want to experience snow❄️. There’s nothing like a snowfall in the Rockies!
Wow I came across this video and it brought many memories. You were close to my Home Sweet Home. I was born in Gilman in 1947 and lived in Minturn until 1962, attended School in Redcliff. I now live in Arvada so I am close to Home. Glenwood was our stomping grounds and the Caves and Pool was always so much fun❤️❤️❤️
I know y’all made the best of your trip but I would have thought the hotel would have told you everything was closed....you make me smile in every video, you are so positive all the time. If y’all want snow try South Lake Tahoe in the spring.
Great video! I have eaten in the Eagle Diner several years ago. I ate multiple times and it was great.
I loved Glenwood Springs too. There is a huge hotsprings pool. So cool to be there swimming in a snow storm! It was naturally heated though. 😁 you are in my old stomping grounds! 😉

I grew up about 70 miles from Iron mountain in Glenwood. I'm glad you live my mountains. The pools are nice but different if you aren't used to it. Loved watching your Vail vlog.

I couldn't help but laugh at poor Bunkey! He went to "rejuvenate" in a natural spring and ended up in a hot tub with some of his not so close friends!! Lo!!! Then he's like gotta go wash the rejuvenation off!! Glad I'm not the only one who fringes at such things!!!

Happy Anniversary! Beautiful area. Have y’all ever been to Helen, Ga? It has a German/Bavarian look to it and is a very cute little town. The river runs right through it. You can sit and watch people tubing in the Summertime. Very nice place to visit.

After living in Colorado for 46 years I would recommend if you want the snow experience to visit Dec-March and you will love it! Glad you had a great time.❄️

Great Anniversary trip, so glad you had a wonderful time. I heard from a family member that a lot of people out there have to use a CPAP machine because of the high altitude. Yikes, another nice place to visit, but I wouldn’t want to live there. I will stay in Michigan, we get a taste of all the four seasons, and we have the beautiful Great Lakes! God Bless and safe travels home.

This place is beautiful. Its a bonus in a sense not to have too many people around. You both can have a leisurely tour of the whole place. Pity the shops were not open.

Y’all definitely need to come to my home state of Montana!! There are several natural hot springs to relax in, and wildlife everywhere. Not to mention more snow than you could ever want between November-March.

Sounds like you guys had fun the same thing happened to me one time when I went to San Antonio Texas it was the first two weeks in January every there were three restaurants restaurants open only three out of all of the restaurants along but the Riverwalk was not very good but we had still had fun
