I like the LX, but have yet to see one on the road though. I have seen all the other luxury SUV's on the road living in South Florida except that LX. Wish I could afford one because I would definitely get it.

LX is made for Dubai crowd. That center console and infotainment is not for Americans. I think i would go lx but in all honesty ill never go off-roading so TX is better buy……The GX is the best car Lexus (suv) has ever made.

Hey you got the towing capacity on the TX wrong. It's up to 5000 pounds on all models, not 3500 pounds.

No comparison between the two. The Lx is based on an offroad giant, the Landcruiser. Bodybon frame, and upscale model. Best of all, build in Japan.
The Tx is a rebadged Toyota build in the Usa..... .

My idea as well. Lexus biggest mistake to build cars outside Japan....
The TX doesn't come close to what the LX is capable of. The TX is a gussied up Grand Highlander whereas the LX is a rebadged LC300 Land Cruiser with Lexus luxury.
The LX will easily outlast the TX as it has better build quality, is more rugged and much more capable offroad.
Then again, these two aren't even in the same category (68k vs 100k)
I much preferred the LX's build quality, style and ruggedness over the rather bland and pedestrian looking TX
