The 19 CB is perfect. For us we can't decide between the 19 or the 16, I wish the 19's floor plan could be turned 180 degrees. That way the dinette and the panoramic windows would be in the back. Most camp grounds you back in and have better views from the back. We really like the front & back windows of the new Caravel 16. But the 19 has nice space. The wife and I love your videos and we watch them all the time. Some day soon will have a 16 or 19 foot Airstream. Thanks again Patrick!
Can you do a A/C noise comparison (ducted vs Traditional), maybe with a decibel meter from different positions in the trailer. Also maybe a few shots to show how dark the trailer can get with all of the shades closed in direct sunlight.... have the camera on Manual find good lighting with them open and keep the same settings and then film with everything shut. Love your videos Patrick, they alone have me interested in joining the airstream family! Keep up the great work! cheers!

I wish AS made a small to med sized trailer ( less than 22) that had wrap around windows and the eating - sitting area in the REAR! I dont need wall to wall windows in my bedroom. lol Plus... I want to view from the back of my trailer. Where the view is generally much nicer. This just makes much more sense to me.

Wow, thanks! The Tacoma does an excellent job for any single axle Airstream travel trailer. I recommend the Blue Ox Sway Pro weight distributing hitch system with sway control for the best towing experience with no squat. I also sell the Airstream trailers and would love to earn your business.
I keep looking for a good place to mount a "cubic grizzly stove". Doesn't look good but, I'm sure being in the trailer is much better than watching a video about it.
Great presentation!! Just for feedback from a potential buyer. I would prefer to ditch the microwave and swap out for real oven. Microwaves are only good for reheating coffee or soup. I would have to find a place for a toaster oven to fill the gap of no oven.

I have a question Patrick! I just got my new caravel 19cb. On my previous Bambi, when the trailer was plugged in, the trailer was powered regardless if the battery disconnect was on or off. On my new caravel this isn’t the case. the battery disconnect switch must be engaged for my trailer to function even when plugged in...is this normal?🤷🏻♂️ if im plugged into 30 amps and I disengage the battery disconnect switch, everything shuts off accept the fridge...weird. I guess my question is... once I’m plugged in to shore power, do I disable the battery switch? Or on this model does it need to stay engaged? I know on the Bambi models, while plugged in, it engaged or disengages the battery from accepting a charge. And from what I read about my caravel, when plugged in to shore power, it charges the batteries regardless if the battery disconnect switch is on or not Thanks brother
There have been some changes in the design of the 12V system in recent year.s Please consult with your selling dealers technician support for an explanation of the charging procedure.
I just came from your Bambi 19CB video. I noticed that you kept mentioning upgrades you get/can get on the Carvel. Like the upgraded A/C and Conventional Microwave Oven. And being 100% honest I like this way better! Do you have any on your lot WITH the conventional microwave oven?
A conventional microwave standard on all Bambi and Caravel floorplans except for the 16RB. A convection microwave is available as a factory upgrade on the 19CB, 20FB and 22FB Caravel models. We do have a new 2020 19CB Caravel in stock with the convection microwave upgrade.
Yes, this has a refrigerator and freezer and it run off of 120V AC and 12V DC. The solar panel charges the 12V battery. A washer dryer is not available. If the Kia Sorento can tow 5000# or more, it would be a good tow vehicle.
I think y'all could make some extra money if you sold an "Airstream gel" kit of plastic sticky covers that exactly fit the lights but shade them more natural orange, white or even blue/red if someone wanted it. I personally think LED lights look like being inside a Walmart (eg disgusting), so it would be nice to find a way to "golden" a few of them. I'd pay y'all $500 to put these on for me, even thought they only cost you $5 for like 1,000 slices of the sticky cover.

I love the Airstreams, especially this particular size (19) but I just can't get over the layout. Looks like a gimmick! Not fond of the bedroom/bathroom design. A more traditional design would be more practical... Like the 16

We recommend an external panel without a solar controller and adding a 2nd Victron 150 | 35 controller in the trailer for the external port.

Its due to customer demand. Consumers now choose a microwave over the oven. I am the opposite.

The hardware on the cabinets is basic and the type of thing you would also find in a builder grade home.
Its actually different if you compare side-by-side.
The wedgie cushions should be zippered & stuffable for more storage with just a little foam in them for form. My 2 cents.
