Wow life is so expensive in the US. Doing the exchange rate $50 would be an extremely extravagant date night in my country. I vote team Chad .....so creative in every situation 👌
I vote Team Datenight! Different couples, different ideas, both a great success! Congrats to both teams! Ps. $50 is a lot for a date, we can do for $20 and go at least twice! 😍 🍟 🍷
Although it was a close call with the pedicure as a gift, I have to go with #teamdiana ! I never thought about going to the goodwill on a date...super creative and out of the box!
I have to go with #teamchad on this one. He Bartered with his friends for a free babysitting gig (nearly impossible to get free babysitting these days), very clever on utilizing one of the money tips. Even though Diana and her hubby did get gifts for each other at Goodwill, I feel like they could have used that $20/total more wisely for their date and lets be honest, more than likely those gifts will be regifted...or stored "in the garage"...lol. Chad and his wife used very little money (.50) on being able to give to others (feeding the ducks) that was a very nice touch.
We always bring stale bread to feed ducks for free, watch the sunset at the beach to try& catch the green flash (free),& use rewards at wendys or chick fillae for $11-20; give canned food to enter the lavender farm free & split a lavender tea (w/cup of ice to spread it further for $3), or hike the bamboo forest with a homemade picnic for free. That enables us to do alot since weve only 3 evenings off together where were not working a week
It was so hard to choose! I LOVE the Goodwill idea but I have to go with #teamchad ! We have 3 boys so babysitters are expensive and hard to come by... Love the idea of trading and also the splitting an appetizer... What a great way to save money!
Teamchad lost points for using a card (better be a debit!!) for Redbox, so unless he deposited cash into his account, he will have an asterisk on his win
Maya Lashae, totally agree that it's not a date. It's a gift for your spouse (which is something that is good for married couples to do as a way to say "I love you" but yet must be contained within budget.) Which under the spirit of this challenge I feel is not bad because it gives us realistic budget ideas to be affectionate and make life nicer with our spouses.
I don't understand date nights, or the need for them. My husband and I celebrated 8 years married last month, and we've never had a date night, or trips away from our children, or any of it. The only time we've been away from our children was once, years ago, when we went used car shopping. Other than that, we're only alone on nights he's off work, after the kids go to bed. #firstworldproblems

I love cooking and eating at home and then going and "splurging" on dessert! I vote for Team Diana!
#teamchad Any date night that starts out with mommy getting pampered is a WIN in my book!
You can rent movies on TH-cam, for the same price as RedBox, but no returning.
Kelsey Horton Or you can download PopcornTime
#teamchad! I liked that he had to get creative with the babysitting.
#teamdiana in my opinion because dates are to be done together😊pampering is before the date
$50 is a lot of money for a date. Typically, we do under $5
And team Diana totally won - stargazing is a lot of fun!

Team Chad for sure!

#teamchad Loved the pre-date pedi idea.

Team Chad
#teamdiana loved the idea of them buying each other gifts at Goodwill.
Team Chad!!
Chad. I wasn't sure if I should like another teamchad comment or type my answer.
team chad its great to have some me time and not break the bank
Both were very lovely dates!
#teamdiana for me! Exactly what me & my husband would’ve done
Diana! The pedi was a nice gesture but that doesn't count as a date

#teamchad although I love stargazing I prefer the pre date- pedi treat
I'd combine the dates and leave out goodwill. :)
Team Chad. Too late to vote? lol
Definitely team Chad!
#TeamDiana. Dessert followed by star gazing was the best.
#teamdiana star gazing is genius!!!
Call it a tie otherwise team Chad in my opinion
Team Diana!
I have to say #teamdiana because Chad's date wouldn't have had enough food to tide me over! 😂
#TeamDiana dates are totally for a little #togetherness
Team Diana😁
#teamdiana I love the Goodwill 😀
TeamCHAD!
Diana :) #teamdiana Both teams missed out on some great opportunities by using coupons or Groupon deals!

#teamdiana. I think they got more value for their buck.
Team Chad without a doubt. I wouldn’t participate in some of the things team Diana did even if it were free
#teamdiana!!!
Team diana.

Team Chad!
Teamdiana, she really stretched that 50bucks
I really like Diana’s date night was better
