Mate, Ive been there.many times and come back with nothing. Tip: take a light setup with you next time, if the big fish aren't around you can always catch the leather jackets hanging around in the kelp right at your feet. At least you can take some fish home 🤷

@@medreo6130 No its definitely not stiff. And I actually prefer stiff rods for soft plastics, easier to set the hooks.

What size sugarpens do you recommend

Depends on what you are targeting, in this footage I was using a 95mm but you don't have to use a sugapen or even the big ones. These guys will take much smaller lures.
