- I was testing my new lens in this cold citynight with 2 of my best friends. We had a great time and we laughed so much. The Lens is the perfect wideangle lens for me. Its super small and so sharp and i love the f2.

For example zhiyun crane 2 has a optional focus motor system. You attach it to lens and control focus via focus wheel on gimbal handle.

i did it once and its okay, it only manual focus tho so you’ll have to set the focus on about 1meter/0.8meter

This is amazingly beautiful but it sucks that I have this same exact combo but for the life of me can't focus on anything, even using focus peaking. It shows that everything colored would be focused only to be disappointed by the image turning out blurry as ever. I almost feel like I made a mistake and should sell it in order to instead get the Sigma 16mm1.4. If I struggle with photos I can't imagine how much harder it'd be using it for videos :/
OLUVIN Hey man! Sad to hear. You really need to use the Focus magnification. This helps a ton and i think i wouldn’t nail the focus as good as without it. I think there are a few tutorials out there on how you can do this. I set my C2 button onto focus magnification and it works perfect for me! Keep it up 👌🏾

Doğukan Polat I actually think about getting the 16mm 1.4 just because of the 1.4. However im in love with the 12mm because its soo wideangle and you can shoot so many things with it

EDiA Thank you very much bro! I really appreciated it! :) I shoot in cine 4 on my sony a6500 and then grade it with luts, s curves and basic adjustments! I used jon olsson aspen lut on this one i think.

due to lowlight conditions + a high fps, are you always at f2? :)
Alexis Flores yes i think i was always at f2. I think i was at f4 a few times to get more sharpness and less bokeh.

Tony Ris Thanks so much dude! Sad to hear that :( It isn’t that difficult tho when you have the focus peaking on. And if its bright outside im on f4 for more sharpness. I shoot the most stuff in infinity focus because 90% of the shots are sharp then.

the actual limit varies slightly depending on codec.

Im editing in a 1080p timeline, and then export it in Premiere ( theres a option where i can pick the 1080p TH-cam) I always do that... I really need to get more into this because on my recent video its even worse sometimes... I really dont want to change my editing program to resolve, im just too similar to premiere :(
