Good helmet mic ! I can hear yah fine. Protection from the cold is important to this Canadian ! Hope yur knees get better soon. I can't drive anything But I've only heard good things about Polaris.
Thanks, been on a few cold rides in my day let me tell you...nothing worse than cold hands or feet! Knees are 95% there.. I have been able to ride several brands, polaris, Yamaha, can-am...all good my friend, hopefully you can get out on one soon..its a blast!!
Im thinking about getting a set of 25" Bearclaw HTR's for my 04 Sportsman 500HO. Just wondering if you are still using these and how are they holding up?
Looks good. When my original tires wear out I will be looking for a more aggressive tread pattern. It is seriously nasty where I travel. It pays to have a good winch. Atb my friend
You've got a problem somewhere. I've got some (Honda) with the throttle pad. Even at idle, if I've got them on high - I can't hold my bare hands on them for very long before they're uncomfortable- maybe 10 seconds. I really liked this show - you demonstrated the tires really well. Who cares about driving on a nice dry hard trail - or over a stick. You're driving in that mud is what matters to me and I'm sure a lot of others. Thanks What kind / or where did you get your box? @@woodlandsnorth
when u went from 25 to 26 inch baer claws did u have too add wheel spacer on front or is ther enough clearence for them without adding spacers cause i have 2004 sportsman 500 ho and i want too go from stock 25 to 26 baer clats htr
I don't have any direct experience with Honda. I know people that have them and hear they are bulletproof. If you are looking used I would probably look Honda for my first quad.
I currently own three Hondas. ATVs and dirt bikes are pretty solid. Although their lineup is very limited and outdated. If I were buying a new quad, I'd give the Grizzly and King Quad serious consideration.
you're flinging mud up so much because you went wider on the front tires. you can see that they stick out past your fenders. probably not a good idea if you like trying to stay somewhat less muddy.
That's True. I needed a different offset to get the tires on there. Don't really care about the extra mud, and like the stability it brings. Thanks for watching!

Just saw your video and really enjoyed it a lot of good information … stay safe
Glad you enjoyed!

I have approx 1000 km on them and they almost look new. Decent traction and good wear IMHO
I tried them out ladt Sunday. We had a combination of snow, slush and mud. Very happy with my decision. Thank you!
How well are the Kenda bearclaw the in snow.
@@bobepema355 i used mine in the snow quite a bit for ice fishing. Got me through some fairly deep stuff.
Great vid brother nice quad!!
Glad you like it, thanks for watching!!
looks like lots of fun! Nice video!

Whole four wheeler dirty phone spotless

Absolutely! had these for more than a year, and are holding up nicely. Thanks for watching!
Check out the dirt devil xt not at . Tires. I have them and love them. Deep lug but not mud tire deep. They work good. All around tire.
I mean grip warmers are an option if you ride in cold often.
My quad has them. I find they dont work that well unless Im at high RPM for some time. Thanks for watching.
Ah ok

I needed to get outset rims to help with clearance or they would rub - thanks for watching!
I have to ask...why is there a stop sign (2:30) on a trail in the middle of nowhere?
Looks like two lanes can merge into one there Im guessing. Recipe for disaster if two quads go at the same time.
Sled trail..marker in the off season
Because it's to Expensive to put up a stop light.. lol
Why did you put the better tires in the front?
Because the 12's wouldnt fit. Got a deal on them but could only get 2.
Would u get a polaris or a honda for your first quad

Suzuki
Hondas have been perfect for me. had them since 1986. just added a Polaris to the mix.
