Abandoned Ship Wreck Off The Coast Of Fort William (The Corpach wreck)

Corpach Shipwreck, Loch Linnhe, Fort William. Corpach Shipwreck, Caol. On the beach near Caol. We took a wander to the far end of the Caledonian Canal. This is where is meets Loch Linnhe, which is an inlet from the North Atlantic. Here, we saw the Corpach Shipwreck.
This wreck is actually the MV Dayspring. This boat was built in 1975 to catch herring and mackerel. In 2000, it stopped its activity. Moored in the Fort William area, the boat was caught in a storm in December 2011. The elements were so strongly unleashed that the mooring holding the boat let go.
