Beautiful work! You and Gavin Hardcastle (fototripper) have in common, both of you are TH-camrs, both of you are landscape photographers, both of you produce beautiful work, and both of you put good humor in your videos! 😄😊👍
oh my god i love you mate, i think Gavin to a top top dude and would so much enjoy meeting him, to be compared with him for me is a massive honor thanks you
@@paulcomptonpdphotography 😊 You are welcome!! 😊 Oh yes! I totally agree with you!
Lol
Fantastic images and fun video to watch. I really enjoy your humor and the selfies. Thank you Paul.
Thanks you i do enjoy a good selfie, its a memory thing to show me where i have been
Black & white for me with this type of subject - I love the tones and textures. Nicely filmed!
thanks matey, good to hear from you
Yes, fella, Denise is a beauty. You definitely out kicked your coverage when it comes to her!
She is. So perfect for me I am a luck guy
Hey, fantastic video and great comps. It’s great seeing people enjoy the scenery of my home town. - Robbie
Glad you enjoyed it
Great shots of the Corpach wreck. Love that boat. Was there a few years ago and got some lovely shots of it. I think Ben had a little bit of snow on his head when I took mine. 👍
it would be nice to get a good one with good conditions
I like the cleaned up color version.
it does look better
cracking images, due up there similar time next year so cant wait now!
Good on ya you will love it
For the most part I prefer the B&W versions, however the second to last shot (colour) in the video where you zoom into the wreck and show Ben Nevis in the background is really special. Don't apologize for being chatty on your vlogs, it's part of the charm.
Charm me haha. Thanks buddy nice one
Great shots Paul. I like both the B&W and colour shots, but I think I prefer the earlier shots in colour as you got some nice subtle pre-dawn pinks and purples in there, which add to the atmosphere in those earlier images. Working my way through your other videos now! Great stuff
hi mate thaks for stopping by, please comment on the videos as and when you watch them.. all helps the channel
Great to meet up with you Paul & Mrs C later in the morning, another great Vlog & very nice images even thought the conditions weren't exactly ideal, the drone footage was amazing but never captured the intensity of the oyster catcher attack you were lucky to get it back in one piece lol. The time lapse was also pretty cool, thank goodness you cut out the bit where you got me to mention my woodland photography UK FB page, my arse collapsed when you turned the camera on me lol
Keep up the great work Mr C & hopefully we'll meet up again.
Mate it was amazing to meet you and thank for telling me of this place. I am sure we will meet again in fact I feel a big Scottish meet up coming lol
@@paulcomptonpdphotography Count me in
Been watching out for this Gary since you mentioned it at work. See you on Thursday when you get back ;-)
Hope your going to join us next time then
If I get some days off at the right time
Fantastic video. You got some cracking photos.
It's strange how I am currently planning a trip to Fort William and had discovered this boat. Thinking I want to photograph that. 2 days later this pops up on my suggested videos.
It’s crazy does it to me all the time
Great video, Very enjoyable.. TooK me back 19 years to when I lived on the shore in Caol (Pronounced COOL)
Cool it’s a nice place
first video ive seen of yours, very good, its a great place last time i went there it was raining :(
thanks matey, i hope you check out lots more and please comment..
Nice shots, Paul. Lynne Luxon-Jones visited this same location a few weeks back. Both of you have done a great job of capturing this iconic location. Well done.
I’ll take a look not been watching her stuff for a while
nice.............
Thank you
Cracking vlog Paul with some super images.
cheers i do try to please some one
Strange you had a incident, I almost lost my drone as well. I flew over the wreck and as soon as I was above it the signal dropped and I ended up turning the drone around in my panic, I then flew towards the hockey field not knowing it's been turned around and almost went into the pedestrian fence around the pitch. I missed it by fluke, I flew into the only gap in it at knee height, recovered and returned the drone. These things cost so much and you have a heart attack when it goes wrong.
Mine is insurances now even if you can’t recover it
Awesome shots Paul. What a beautiful spot. The Mono image was magnificent.
thank you for taking time to watch and comment means a lot
Espectacular places, like all places that youll show us.What a pity the city lights ,they cut you to make a lot of photos.Ahhh!!,Black and white,of course
It’s a pleasure mate more to come
👍🏼
;-) lol
Great vlog, nice images. Shame about the birds a drone shot or two would have been awesome. Thanks again for sharing 👍
my god them bird really worried me, and i so wanted a drone shot

@@paulcomptonpdphotography If it's at Fort Augustus, then yes....We have stayed just down the road from where you were, by Neptune,s Staircase.....Will look for your Facebook page. Regards.....
It is
Nice vid. Tend to prefer the colour shots with the earlier morning grey/blue haze.
The last time I was in Fort William we were travelling up to Skye. My youngest in the back of the van said 'Are we nearly there yet?' and promptly threw up..... over the dog. The poor dog had to go into the loch on a dreich grey day. Van and dog had a malodourous pong for days.
oh my that must smell yucky lol
Never have let my youngest forget it. It was six years ago and the dogs long gone.
You got some lovely images there, and the ones I liked were the colour ones, on my monitor the mono pictures did not come across has good or as strong as the colour pictures. That was a fantastic location, and it must have been a bit of a bonus for you to find it! It was very good too for Alan to meet up with you and show you around it looks like you had a great morning together. You did mention Mrs C was still in bed and I don't blame her for that especially as it was 4-30 am in the morning, another reason I have mentioned Mrs C is because you both come over as a nice couple (team) and on some of your blogs she appears to be your sat nav with names of places that you cant remember, you did ask where ever you are let us know, so perhaps we can link up, well at the mo I am in bed, so perhaps you may have to re phrase or adjust your comments to "if you are in the area" (ha ha). It was good of Alan to join you too. Thank you for sharing your morning with us......
Des mate if you want me to meet you in bed so be it, but there better be a cup of tea waiting for us lol... but YES please do let us know where you are as i am all over the place, love to hook up
@@paulcomptonpdphotography It was only a joke! Don't take me too seriously...have a safe journey where ever you are....Des
Happy to meet up
Thanks Des, it was great to meet up with Paul & Mrs C later in the morning, It wasn't the best conditions light wise but we both managed to capture a few nice images at stunning location.
Does anyone know the best place to park when i come with a car? I see some parking on the satellite image by the water, near the harbor, but I'm not sure if that's restricted parking.
can park in merina or the other side on the road, its easy
@@paulcomptonpdphotography thanks!!!
welcome
How far a walk from the car park is this?
about 250 yards from the end of the road
do you want a map, ill mark where it is
